Johnny Mac's Water Street Tavern — Restaurant in Henderson

We have patronized the original location on Boulder many times. We were excited that they opened a new location on Water St, since it’s closer. I will start by saying, stick with their pizza and wings, which is what they are known for and they are excellent! We made the mistake of veering off the menu and ordered the charcuterie…and the server suggested the additional appetizer of ricotta dip to accompany it, and my husband ordered the Italian sandwich. Omg yall, check out the pic of the charcuterie board for $16, it was laughable. I could whip that up from the 7-11 deli dept hahaha! Cheese cubes?!?! The meat had no taste, which tells me it’s been sitting far too long. My husbands Italian sandwich was absolutely dry, with only a few slices of meat, he said it tasted like a lunch truck sandwich….but at least lunch trucks try. The best part was the bread. We are aware that the owner is a stickler, to his standards, but more so about cleanliness and not the menu. We hope that he reads this, and takes pride in his menu as much as he does with finding a random napkin on the floor. Sorry to have to make...

Myself and five others went to Johnny Mac's on Water Street during happy hour. Our waitress, Sophia, was great and our food was good. I ordered a teriyaki chicken tender sandwich with onion rings, which was very good. Everyone at the table seemed satisfied with their food. Our table of six ordered two beers and four glasses of house wine. The two beers we're $8 but the four glasses of wine came out to be $43. It turns out that house wine is not included in the happy hour. This was disappointing, not only because of the price, but because there appeared to be less than 4 oz of wine in each glass. If you want a good happy hour experience, I recommend going to Yard House at Sunset Station. We may or may not go back to Johnny Mac's on Water Street.

This senior citizen right here needs some customer service training, or to retire, or hide his racism a lil better. I know it’s water street but come on. We Didn't even get to look at the menu before he asked what we wanted. He did not hand us a menu to begin with , did not hand my change back into my hand. Poored a Terrible warm beer. No lime. no coster. no manners. no tip 🙂‍↕️it was however funny how he commented about how fast i grabbed my change back lol yes sir it’s because I didn’t want to risk you putting it anywhere other than my hand. Dude looks redic in a cow boy hat taking his reading glasses on and off every min.

can’t comment on the food. Pulled my money out of the machine so fast , old dude commented on how at least i didn’t lose any. I didn’t even finish my beer, it had a really bitter after taste and warm from the inside. I left. Paid ofc. NO TIPPP so satisfying 😆
