We were driving into town to meet family at the big indoor playground nearby this Del Taco. My kids needed restroom and we all were hungry. I decided to stop when I saw that they had their shrimp tacos back in stock which are my favorite thing to eat at any Del taco. Sometimes certain Del tacos have shrimp sitting and the tacos come out barely warm. Due to sensory issues. I donāt feel well eating anything but piping hot food or freezing cold food depending on what the temperature of the food is supposed to be. We walked in. I had to yell for someone to please let us in the restroom as it had a lock on it which is fine except my kid had to go bad, but we were not greeted at all when we walked in. One of the employees friendly enough let us in after I had to raise my voice to get them to hear me that my daughter really needed the restroom right away. After we finished using the restroom, we came to the counter. I was looking around at the menu. There was no one at the front. There were employees in the back behind the wall chitchatting. This is fine but today I felt like a Karen getting irritated by the lack of respect of anyone even acknowledging that we were there. I said, āis anyone here that could take our order please?ā Still, the employees stood in the back laughing and talking. A gentlemen employee finally acknowledge my existence, when I pulled out my phone camera to start filming to show that no one was acknowledging us. It wasnāt until I pushed record that one of the two ladies in the back realized, and walked out, and started acting busy as the gentleman took our order. Granted, I may have been a little more irritable, waiting this long because we were in a bit of a rush and isnāt it called āfast food?ā I guess I can also admit I was a little Hangry. I took a few days and decided to think about my experience before leaving this review. I didnāt change my mind. I still feel that it was unacceptable that we were not acknowledged, and taken care of at least to be told āwe will be with you soonā or welcome in Iāll get to you as soon as I canā I mean, I wouldāve been happy with anything even a slight wave or head nod! In my opinion, thatās just simple human decency. I would like to say though that finally after we did get our food, it was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The shrimp was fresh the way that the lady made the taco was delicious and perfect and had the right amounts of everything in it. One thing I did not like is that they put the taco directly into a tin foil wrapper. I wouldāve liked some paper and then the tinfoil or just the paper wrapper. I have issues with one of my teeth having a little exposed metal and so even unwrapping the metal and biting into the taco that touched the metal made me feel like I had built into tinfoil sending shock waves down my body. Iām sure this doesnāt happen to everybody but I do know that tin foil is considered toxic now and should not touch food. I know that Dell taco food probably isnāt the healthiest but at least it had pico de gallo and cabbage some really yummy secret sauce It tasted like a garlic aioli mayo sour cream mix of some sort. The shrimp were nicely sized and cooked perfectly. She even remember the limes with it where is some Del tacos forget this step. Had we got greeted or acknowledged more quickly iād have left five stars for the service. I am hoping that when the manager reads this, they can tell the employees how important it is for people to feel like they are seen. If only a gesture to know that Iām not just standing there unbeknownst to the staff. They werenāt busy. Iām not complaining about this whe. The restaurant was packed and everyone in the staff was doing something. We were the only people in the restaurant at this time so itās unacceptable. I would want a restaurant I owned to be filled with a more polite staff. Greet people with a smile acknowledging their presence. Half of the customers experience is how they are treated, not just the food. Thank you for the delicious food. I hope next time Iām...

I also askes for fries no salt and when it didn't show no salt on the receipt I asked cashier about it and she said it was on the receipt. I proceeded to tell her and show her it wasn't so she yelles to the gally fries with no salt.
When my daughter opens up quesadilla she said no chicken. When I brought it up a different person helped me and said was only charged for regular quesadilla and could charge me for chicken quesadilla. Why didn't I get charged right in the first place.
Almost every employee in the store had on headphones pertaining to the drive-thru.I think of the employees are going to pay attention to the drive-thru they need to stay at the drive-thru and not work drive thru and counter customers at the same time.
My daughter and I went into the restaurant to eat so we coule have a good time and enjoy our lunch together since we traveled from Pahrump, Nevada into Henderson for a meeting. I passed several other Del Tacos along the way that I know do better service than this Del Taco and WILL NEVER eat there again.
All I seemed to have gotten from the employees working there was attitude and not understanding or sympathetic, I should say for mistakes made by their not listening to the customer. And the inside of the restaurant wasn't busy. We were there around 2:30 p.m. Drive-thru had about 5-10 cars come through while I was there the 20 minutes or so we eat in the restaurant. Drive-thru shouldn't be given priority because they don't want to come in or are in a hurry. Sad that the store didn't feel customers inside were important or willing or able to satisfy their time in the restaurant.
Like I said if I'm ever in Henderson I WILL NEVER eat at that location again.
And for two people our total was almost $27 so price wasn't an issue. It was the employees attitudes that I dealt with thar made this decision for me. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I went to this Del Taco for soft taco night. I arrived happy and even ordered a large strawberry lemonade. When I arrived to the window Jasmin, a shift lead, charged me for my order then handed me a medium sized clear cup full of strawberry lemonade. I explained to her that I ordered a large lemonade and she informed me that this was a large lemonade... confused, I told her I always received my large lemonade in a large white cup. She then said that is an extra large ( I had NO IDEA an XL cup existed at any fast food places anymore). Because I did not want to pay $3.78 for a medium sized lemonade I asked her to just remove it from my order. Immediately she rolled her eyes and walked away from the window. Then she came back with the "manager" who refunded me. While they were both at the window I told the manager that she was very disrespectful to me and gave me unnecessary attitude when I asked for a refund. She again rolled her eyes at me. I told her that this is horrible customer service and I asked for an apology. She started laughing and said "I'm not going to apologize". The manager stood there and allowed her to talk to me this way. She finally walked away after I asked for her name and title. After this I told him that I always came there and got my lemonade in the large white cup every time i ordered it. He said yes that was how they used to do it but that it had recently chanwd. He then apologized to me but it was not sincere at all. He then asked me if I wanted any sauce for my food and handed me my food so I could leave. So absolutely horrible!!! I have never in my life seen a manager allow one of their employees to act this way and treat a customer like this. I will now take my business down the street...
