I was craving taco salad early this week, and remembered that we have a Roberto's close by. I ordered a bean tostada, a chicken taco salad and a pineapple drink to be delivered. In the notes, I asked for Pico de Gallo, medium salsa, mild salsa, radishes and scallions. The order arrived with no pico, no radishes and no scallions. I called the store, and was told in a somewhat rude manner that, "pico costs extra," and that they didn't have the other items I asked for. I inquired why they couldn't give me a chance to pay for Pico before delivering my order.. Was told that they can't do that. I have been contacted by other companies who havedhave to us, allowing us to update payment. When I began to eat the salad, I realized it had VERY little lettuce! It's a salad! It should be mostly lettuce. I appreciate that it had quite a bit of chicken, but I really wanted a salad. It also didn't taste very good overall, and was rather mushy. I didn't want to call back, considering how I was treated when I called the first time. The tostada and pineapple drink were both very good. I wish the customer service has been better. It made me not want to order from this restaurant in the future. I have a photo of the salad.. Don't know how to include it with this review.

After receiving an AWFUL taco salad about a month ago, We decided to give Roberto's near us another chance, ordering items we've enjoyed in the past; BIG MISTAKE!
We ordered through Uber Eats The order arrived without the Salsa Mexicana (Pico de Gallo), that many restaurants in the area include when ordering a meal). I called Roberto's, and spoke with a very nice, understanding girl. When she explained what happened last time, and that the salsa was missing this time to the Manager, he didn't seem to care. He told her to tell me that they would include the Salsa Mexicana NEXT TIME! We don't like the regular salsa they provide (that's why we paid extra). Therefore, we were left with dry, tasteless chicken tacos!
To make things worse, when I tasted the tamale, I realized it was beef! We ordered chicken! I certainly wasn't going to call back!
The Manager also said that they couldn't even give me a refund, that I would have speak with Uber Eats. There is no way to speak with anyone at Uber Eats, and their system to report a problem is less...

I waited behind a car for 25 minutes. I would have exited but you cannot at that drive-through. After almost half an hour I saw the girl at the window pass A minimum of four large bags to the car. Clearly a feast for 12. When I got up to the window the only thing I expected was an apology for waiting so long. She did not acknowledge my extensive wait. So I mentioned to her that in the future, with such a large order, maybe she should have them pull through to a parking spot so that they could assist the other clients, while her large order was fulfilled. She looked at me and walked away. How infuriating! As a business owner myself I wanted to convey it to the franchisee. It was on a Friday night. I called the corporate office right after the incident and she returned my call early Monday morning. She was very professional and very apologetic and I stressed to her that all I really wanted was āIām sorry you had to wait so longā. She said that she would convey that to the franchise owner of that store. That was Monday morning. This is Thursday and I have yet to hear from the owner. Bad bad customer relations. This one in particular I was actually looking forward to opening because it would have a drive thru. I've been in the drive thru a few times now and it's been better than I expected till today when I went inside to order. I did the Taco Wednesday as I usually do and ordered 12 (the limit). I also asked them as I always do to make them lightly crispy, not interested in breaking a tooth on a hard shell. They got them speedily out to me waiting inside in roughly 10 minutes, WOW that's pretty fast. Problem with that is when I got home, they were not only very crispy but not recently cooked. Now I have a problem with that because I know they didn't cook them to order or cook them to order as I had requested. That's not a particularly good way to treat customers and a really good way to lose repeat customers because there's one even closer to me. I'm going to give them a pass on this one but I hope they are reading this because the customer should not be treated this way on orders. Other than that, they've been really good the other few times I've been there ordering.
