HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. Iāll start by saying I love shopping at Home Goods, I believe prices are right, excellent quality items, canāt forget to say the best gummy bears! Great customer service experience UNTIL TODAY when I dealt with a cashier named āKATā. I have been in customer service for 6 years, been a sales manager for two and I am aware of how clients should be treated and this person had ABSOLUTELY no clue. She had no idea of the meaning of the word respect, consideration, honesty, and she provided me with THE WORST customer service experience Iāve ever received. I have provided this specific store with SO much business, Iāve told all my friends and family about it and for a lot of them is their first choice when purchasing home decor, and today Iām bringing my sister for the first time with her two year old baby and we get treated like delinquents threatening us with the police ? What can a pregnant woman and a lady with a baby on her arms do????? I honestly hope she gets fired and that all her co workers, and most importantly managers know what kind of employee they have working there. Itās such a shame because I always deal with wonderful people there and honestly I wouldnāt want to shop there until I know sheās gone. She didnāt even care about the business or the store, she refused to ring us up which shows her lack of interest in the sales of the store, she didnāt NOT EVEN ONCE apologize for her attitude and her mistakes, which shows her lack of professionalism. On top of that, the shift Manager(Julie, which was very kind) came to try to resolve the issue, and this lady threatens her too! By asking her if sheās gonna do something otherwise sheās going home!!!!! What!!!! NEVER have I seen something like this. No...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I bought my daughter a beautiful comforter while I was back home in Indiana at a local HomeGoods store. Knowing I flew Southwest airlines and had minimal baggage, I had planned on packing it into a suitcase to check.. But,unfortunately forgot to pack it. When I priced how much it would cost to have my mom send it to me in Nevada, it was more than the price of the merchandise ...so I had my mother return it to the store & get store credit...she mailed me the merchandise card w/ receipt..When I went to buy the comforter here in Nevada... I also picked out another $200 worth of merchandise...but the store refused the store credit for even purchase( along with my cash for all the rest?- even though I had the receipt with it because it they had my mom sign the merchandise card since she returned it for me -ridiculous!! the store manager was rude & impatient... made me feel foolish like I was trying to scam them out of their $50 ... I was even willing to put my mother on FaceTime where she could show her license but nothing was good enough ...what happened to common sense? this is why I like to shop at mom & pop stores -where common sense is policy... I used to own a restaurant and I used my common sense I never wanted one of my customers to leave with a bad taste in their mouth -no matter what- so all I have to say for HomeGoods is....āyouāve lost your common senseā and a couple...

Today I came in to check out and maybe pick up some picture frames. The prices for frames were not too shabby! However one major issue is the staff. 1st problem: They stick the frame pricing stickers directly onto the glass, which is really extremely difficult to remove. Part 2: We came to the front and a young female employee sent us to a register to pay when no one was there. The staff member that was assigned to the register was extremely flustered and upset, which I'm not sure is because of what was going on with other employees. It's not an issue but just communicate with us like - "sorry I'm so upset I had an issue, just bear with me." With that said she managed to be very fast and accurate with paper wrapping and was very polite at the end. The other young employee also went up to the register shortly after to take the people behind us...so that was weird as well. Why not just take us since you're there already? Strange. I don't know if it's some shady employee politics but the drama is...
