My family and I came here for the first time. The restaurant was small and felt clean. Felt like they missed a few details.. the bowls they brought to our table, one was dirty dried yellow smudges on the side. No big deal, we asked to change it for a clean one. But that’s our first impression. We alerted the server prior to ordering that we wanted to make sure there wasn’t any bell peppers in any of the dishes; as my sister has a severe allergy to it. They were able to accommodate us, we ordered a lot of items to share family style. While we were enjoying, I felt like they weren’t really pre bussing the table as we had a lot of empty entree dishes that were taking a lot of room on the table. I had to ask for someone to clear our table. It wasn’t very busy and we were in the center of the dining room, felt like they could of attended us a little more on that part. The food was tasty but the Pad Thai was lacking a bit in finesse, just didn’t seem very special. Everything else was tasty.. however what was frustrating was the fact that we found green bell peppers in the green curry.. when we brought it to the servers attention. They questioned what it was and guessed if it was eggplant or something else. They didn’t really apologize or seemed concerned. Luckily my sister didn’t have a chance to try it yet before we noticed it. My sister would have had a painful allergic reaction and working in the industry this is something that could get your establishment shut down! Frustrated as there was an automatic gratuity of 18% added automatically since we were a party of 9 guests. I felt like the manager should have apologized to us and did something for their mistake. Overall food was good but nothing to rave about. Service needs help in terms of more care and sincerity.

Unfortunately there's no way to select half stars on google right now. It's a 3.5 out of 5 for me, on my scale it is good but not great. My mom and I have been big Thai food fans since the early 90s, and we are both from southern California where we were always in close proximity to really good Thai, Japanese, and Korean food. The food was very beautiful looking, and fresh, not bad overall but a little bit disappointing in kind of specific ways. I know spice is subjective depending on the person, but the spice level was pretty low honestly, both of us requested 6/10 but tasted more like a 2. The type of spice was unusual as well, since it didn't really heat up the mouth, but hit you straight in the nose (if that makes sense). My mom who'll be 70 in a couple of weeks, is really sensitive to specific spices and she said this was for sure cyan pepper. My dish was a red curry, and it was alright just a little bit wimpy on some of the nice vegetables. The beef satay was really nice and I got a coconut drink which was awesome. Not the worst of Thai food offerings just not my personal favorite. I did notice that it is a great place for vegan and vegetarian menu offerings, and if I ever change my diet in the future I'll be back.

At the risk of simply saying what hundreds of others have already said, simply more recently - I still feel the need to review this business because I was so impressed by the quality.

I ordered the crab rangoons, Duck Panang, green curry, and crab fried rice.

Pros:

The Panang was out of this world: perfectly blended and layered spices that are a master class in balance. I can't stress this part enough: the balance between the harmony of the ingredients, yet the small moments of hyper-clarity as small parts sing and carry the dish - absolutely flawless.

The dough used for the rangoons was extremely thin and fried just enough to have a rewarding crunch at the edges. The filling was a generous portion, and above what I expected for quality - but doesn't display nearly the level of polish or consideration put into their curry.

Thailicious' use of a 1-10 hot scale is impressively well executed. At first I was skeptical (surely this is more in the wiggle/pinch realm than an accurate measure of the finished meal's relative heat, right?), but upon comparing my partner's "2" Green curry to my "7" Panang, I was very impressed by the attention to detail with their heat. The differences become apparent after a few bites of each - the "7"'s slowly building burn was a completely different dining experience than the "2". Both gradually hit their mark over the span of a few bites and then coast with a level of precision that speaks to truly dedicated culinary professionals.

Cons:

Strangely, the low-point was the crab fried rice. The portions of crab were generous, and they get bonus points for using genuine crab (obvious pieces of jumbo lump blue crab were present and plentiful), and the rice itself was quite tasty and well done. That being said, the crab was showing signs of being pretty dramatically overcooked to the point of being overly firm. Some combination of cook time, temperature, or when the crab is added need to be reconsidered - this was the only part of the meal that was disappointing in any way.

The crab rangoons were better than expected, but have clear areas for improvement. If you have real crab in house (which you do, as shown by your crab fried rice), that would be an immediate quality improvement over the imitation crab. Beyond that, there's certainly room to display more of your mastery of flavor - I would love to see a little bit more creaminess in the consistency of the filling, and more excitement. Even though it's "junk food", there's no need to be shy with elements of excitement - even basic staples like scallions would be an improvement there.

Overall? Insanely impressed. This is a restaurant that punches way outside of its price range, and is easily worth checking out. Don't miss this...

Title: Thailicious in Henderson: A Taste Sensation for Curry Lovers and Thai Tea Enthusiasts

Rating: 🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼

Review:

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thailicious in Henderson, and it was truly a culinary delight. This restaurant has captured the essence of Thai cuisine, particularly their outstanding yellow curry and delectable Thai tea. Thailicious is deserving of a glowing five-star review for their exceptional flavors, attentive service, and overall dining experience.

Let's start with the star of the show - the yellow curry at Thailicious. It was an absolute taste sensation! The curry had a perfect balance of spices, creamy coconut milk, and aromatic herbs, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that danced on my taste buds. The tender pieces of meat, combined with fresh vegetables, added texture and depth to the dish. Thailicious has truly mastered the art of crafting this classic Thai dish, making it a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant.

Aside from the incredible yellow curry, Thailicious also boasts a Thai tea that is simply superb. The rich and creamy tea, perfectly sweetened, is a refreshing and satisfying beverage that pairs wonderfully with the spicy and savory flavors of Thai cuisine. It's evident that Thailicious pays attention to detail, as the Thai tea is prepared with care, resulting in a drink that is both indulgent and authentic.

The service at Thailicious was exemplary. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and provided prompt service throughout my dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations based on my preferences. The level of care and attention they showed truly enhanced the overall dining experience.

The ambiance of Thailicious is inviting and comfortable. The restaurant's warm and cozy interior, adorned with Thai-inspired decorations, creates a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're dining with family or friends, Thailicious provides a relaxed environment to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine.

Lastly, the value for money at Thailicious is outstanding. The portions are generous, allowing you to savor the mouthwatering flavors without breaking the bank. The quality and authenticity of the food, combined with the excellent service and inviting atmosphere, make every visit to Thailicious a worthwhile experience.

In conclusion, Thailicious in Henderson is a true gem for Thai food enthusiasts. Their exceptional yellow curry, alongside their delightful Thai tea, sets them apart from the rest. From the first bite to the last sip, Thailicious provides an unforgettable culinary journey that captures the true essence of Thai cuisine. I wholeheartedly recommend Thailicious to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience...
