What an absolute nightmare. We came in on a Sunday night. There were maybe 7 people in front of us. The two unkempt gentlemen behind the counter were absolutely vile. In every sense of the word. The one taking care of tickets (brown hair, silver chain, and chest hair visible) was unbelievably rude to the older women in front of us. Same with the two kids next in line. When me and my girlfriend got up to the counter and asked for two tickets to the new hunger games the ticket master made an audible screech at his iPad, like an actual screech. Apparently the computer wasnât working right and he voiced this loud and clear.
A little taken aback We asked for a couple things of candy, which he tossed (not handed) to us. â Theater 10â he hissed, never looking up once.
Look, I get it. Sometimes itâs just a bad day. Sometimes youâre stuck in a job you canât stand and you want to make sure the world knows it. But the blatant disrespect I unacceptable. Half way through the movie I came back out to concessions to get a drink. This time I had the pleasure of dealing with the other man behind the counter. This one also brown hair, gnarled goatee and food stuck in between his teeth. He was facing the wrong direction and very into whatever he was watching on his phone. I walked all the way through the empty concession line so heâd hear me coming. Even tapped my hand on the posts to make some kind of noise.
With a final huff he turned around and said âwhatâ. I asked him for a coke. He rubs his open palm over his nose and with the same hand pours my drink. Absolutely disgusting.
We finished our movie and headed out. The Urinals not working and everything visibly covered in grime. Do not come here. Itâs foul. And if by some chance a manager sees this and your cameras actually function this happened on December 17, hunger games showing...
Read morePaid for unlimited refill bucket for the family. When I went back for the third refill which would have made the extra $5 worth the price of paying more for the bucket, there was a line out the door. I discreetly say to the manage "excuse me, can I get a refill?" He says "you have to get in line." Mind you, the line was still there 45 mins later when our movie ended. I try to explain that I'm in a movie but he doesn't hear me out and raises his voice to tell me they are really busy and I'd have to get in line. Frustrated, I start to walk away and then come back and ask if there is a manager on duty, he snaps "I'm the manager." I ask for his name (Ryan) and quickly explain that in the amount of time spent he has spent snapping at me (we are talking literally a 30 second process) he could have refilled the bucket. His response, "If you don't like it get out of his building."
I get being busy but you have to have a policy to deal with customers asking for refills during the movie they paid for. If you can't keep up, don't sell refills! Expecting customers to waiting 30 + minutes to get a refill while their movie is playing isn't fair and snapping at them and telling them to get out of your theater is just poor management/training.
These are first world problems for sure since it is only popcorn but there is no excuse for this kind of service. You know when it's going to be busy, get proper staffing so your employees aren't put in this position and develope a policy to give refills that doesn't require a customer to wait more...
Read moreI am pretty upset as I have come here for years. So obviously I wanted to bring my children I have a daughter with high functioning autism and adhd. We sat 2nd to last row in back so not to disturb anyone. She moved closer to front with my other kids with her and later in movie she moved back to sit with us. We had 7 people total there that night. I think we got up once for bathroom and once for drink refill. This lady in front of us complained to staff and they sent staff to literally stand beside our row and watch us?? My daughter turned on a game with no sound and had the screened dimmed all the way mind u no one was behind us but my other kids and the manager asked us to leave. I was so confused cause the kids weren't bad my daughter is 6 with severe adhd so being in one spot is difficult hence the one set change. The manager was beyond rude honestly. And there wasn't a legit reason to kick us out and ban us. Everyone goes to bathroom and gets refills and the seat move wasn't disruptive I would not have known had I not been keeping an eye and seen them move. I just find it pretty petty that adults felt the need to ruin a movie for kids. I could understand if she was yelling but she was very quiet actually. I had to comfort 4 crying kids after the manager was so rude and yelling. They could not understand why they were being made to leave and 7 people is a pretty dam expensive movie night. I am considering going public because people with disabilities are supposed be treated equally but it wasn't the case...
