Willie's Phillys — Restaurant in Hermann

I loved my experience at Willie’s Phillies. The owner, who was also the bartender, was so friendly and nice!! Each person gets three samples of wine. She’ll pour the samples for you while telling you where the wine is made, what the flavors the wine is, and what it pairs with. She also gave us a couple chocolate chips to taste them with a wine that made for a taste of chocolate covered cherries. We ordered the gyro with potato salad and chicken Philly with blind hen. I had never heard of "blind hen” before but it was delicious! It is green beans, onions, carrots, bacon, and apples tossed in a sweet vinaigrette. Our food was delicious!! The restaurant is clean and colorfully painted. The playlist was perfect too - some yacht rock and some country. I will be back!!

This spot recently opened in town and I’ve been itching to try it. Just got the chance to stop in and was so happy with my experience. The philly was amazing. I got beef with all the fixings. I was worried about the meat being too dry, but it was a perfect texture and flavor! The cheese is amazing, melted, and perfectly gooey. The hoagies are fresh and even toasted. My server, Will, served me with a smile and a friendly conversation. The outdoor seating is lovely and they have a fire pit for cooler nights. Will said they were going to start rolling out soups soon, which I can’t wait for! 11/10...

After sitting in a nearby restaurant for over ten minutes without being greeted by our server, we left in search of food. Willie’s was just across the street so we gave it a shot. I ordered the beef naked philly and it was absolutely incredible. The employees were all friendly and personable and the service was great. The upper deck offers a beautiful view of the live music a street over. The owner came up at closing time and had a nice chat with us and told us we could stay up there as long as we wanted so we could enjoy the music. It was such an amazing experience!...
