Homey local Italian spot with large portions. Came here in a group of four on a Friday around 7:30 and waited about 15-20 min to get a table. Metered street parking only (no private parking). Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. Two gender neutral restrooms available behind the hostess stand. They can accommodate large groups. Kid-friendly. They give you complimentary bread with olive oil and basalmic vinegar. I got the chicken Parmesan Hermosa which was huge, and made for great leftovers the following day for lunch. The shrimp gnocchi is also a good call if you like creamy white sauces. For those who are pickier, you can opt to customize your own pasta. The tiramisu “for two” can easily feed four people and is a good dessert option. Overall, for a spot that’s close to the pier but still with a local flair, this is the right call.

A SICK EXPERIENCE!! THE PICTURES LOOKS ON GOOGLE MAPS, BUT THE DISHES TELL A DIFFERENT STORY! STAY AWAY FROM THEIR SPECIALS!!! FIRST, let me emphasize that this is not nearly an authentic Italian food! They are Mexicans trying to make Italian food, but they have no CLUE!! I ate here yesterday and got sick as a dog after eating their salmon squid ink linguine for $29.99. I was going to order another dish, but they pushed me to order this, to soon realize that the dish was EXTREMELY SALTY, SPICY AND FISHY SLIMY TASTE. They added TONES OF CONDIMENTS AND SALT TO HIDE THE FLAVOR, so it was hard to tell if the food was bad or not. Two hours later, DIARRHEA, STOMACHACHE, AND NAUSEA!!!! I had to fly today feeling sick just because they were to GREEDY to throw away their old ink NASTY PASTA!!! I AM SO MAD AT THIS PLACE!!!

Let me start off by saying I have been using Google reviews for a long, long time but never really cared to leave a review. Obviously people have bad experiences at restaurants and such but I don't feel the need to bad mouth someone's business because anyone can have a bad day. It happens. However, based on my last experience here, this 100 percent had to be done and I had to leave my first review which unfortunately is a negative one at place I really like. First thing that happens when I walk in is I step on a packet of open butter. Well there goes my shoes. Next, we get a waiter that honestly is the one of the rudest and most insincere human beings I have ever met in my entire life. He just throws/slams dishes/drinks on the table. Has to be reminded 2-3 times if we ask for something. He completely ignored my fiance's drink request. On my pasta order, there was very little sauce compared to usual so I asked for more on the side. He said there would be extra charge, which is ridiculous but I said it's fine. The guy does not bring it out until the end of the meal when there was one piece of pasta left on my plate EVEN when I reminded him repeatedly for the sauce. THEN GET THIS. I said i don't need the sauce anymore because I am already finished with my food. He says I will pack it for you to go as if that is my only option. Then, he has the NERVE to charge me for it. Are you freaking kidding me?!?!?!?!?!!? And instead of apologizing like a normal human being, he was super defensive and making excuses. Really?!?!?! As if this wasn't bad enough already, at the end I was automatically charged 18 percent tip because we were a group of 6. I was forced to pay it even though he did not deserve a single penny. I have been a regular at this place for quite some time since the food is honestly amazing. But it is so beyond upsetting to see this kind of disgusting service. You have been warned, expect a careless and rude waiter named David S. to completely...

After reading all the good reviews I convinced my boyfriend to come and try this restaurant. We drove 30 minutes to get there, and after arriving were quickly seated. The man cleaning tables gave us fresh bread within a few minutes. And the waiter took maybe 10-15 minutes just to bring us water and then asked if we needed some time to order. We ordered the shrimp pasta, fried pillows, and create your own pasta as a chicken alfredo with veggies. To start, the fried pillows which is a stuffed pasta with cheese tasted like sugarless churros with cheese, and the dipping sauce tasted like hot dogs; yeah pretty gross. We ate a few because we were hungry but then set it aside. The food came quickly, and as I picked up the spoon I already noticed the alfredo sauce looked like water. It tasted like watery alfredo sauce. It was bland and had no flavor. The fettuccine pasta was undercooked. I added so much shredded parmesan and salt, and it was still disgusting. The seared chicken looked as if it were boiled and only 2 pieces were seared. I couldnt eat more than 2 bites. My boyfriends shrimp pasta was equally disgusting and we just couldn't eat it. We waited another 15 minutes to waive the water (since he never came back to check in on us) and asked for a box and the bill. He stared at our full plates but said nothing. He brought me the bill and charged me. We left and gave our food to a homeless man outside. It didn't feel right to waste so much food. The only thing I can agree with from all the reviews is they have fresh bread and a nice man who cleans the tables. Other than that, the waiter is barely present, and the food is bland and has no flavor. It didn't seem fresh or authentic at all. We are severely disappointed, and wasted about $66 for an appetizer, two entrees, and a coke which were all unconsumable....

This was our first time at Fritto Misto. We had heard some good things about it so decided to try it. We were so happy we did.

This place is so cute. It is comfortable and the service is so great you don't want to leave. It is just spotless and you can tell someone loves this place. It is well cared for. There is nothing not to like here. We tried a lot of things and all of it was wonderful.

Our server was so kind to us and she was fast, but never rushed us. The prices here are fair and you get good sized portions.

We loved their bread. You must have it. It comes in half loaves and loaves. It is the best, but don't fill up on it.

The Jumbo Ravioli is to die for. We had the one with with prosciutto, mortadella, and chicken, tossed with garlic cream, caramelized onions, pancetta, and sun-dried tomatoes. Just OMG.

The Garlic Shrimp is great with herb brandy cream, tossed with black and white pasta. It is cooked to perfection. We also loved the Fried Pillows which are stuffed with herb ricotta and fried in vegetable oil and served with a honey chipotle dipping sauce. That I could eat all day.

Finally, their Short Rib Ravioli with chipotle chili cream , steak tips, caramelized onions and sautéed mushrooms are so great. And you can add things if you want.

There is nothing about this place you will not love. They only take reservations for 6 or more so there may be a wait. Just eat a little early. We waited less than 10 minutes.

Have...
