I love Tony's Pizza... I was worried about an elderly friend I wanted to take her out she's 80 years old can barely walk now ...so we called in a large Tony's special extra cheese it was over $40 ...what upset me I'm the one that wanted to go there it was 9:14 pm when they handed us the pizza ....she asked could we eat our pizza we were only going to have one slice they said no we're getting ready to close I said but you're not close yet and other people are sitting in the restaurant eating? I don't understand why we have to leave if it's not closed they said we don't get paid after 9:30 it was 9:14 p.m. and we were only going to eat one slice she still left them a $5 tip as she was paying for a drink to go that was just wrong 💔 this lady actually knows the owner her husband Mr.Hallman ate there many years before he passed they were business people it really hurt to watch this was the worst customer service ever. I will never take her back there water was all in the floor she could have fell from the mop water and no one even tried to help her the money she has spent in that place over the years smh.... and she loves that place best pizza but she will never forget neither will I... She is such a good-hearted person treat everybody the...
Read moreThis is one of the few pizza places where you can split a pizza with your whole family, while still satisfying your teenager's hunger! The pizza here is New York-Style, so the slices are huge. Even though they may seem more expensive than other pizza places in the area, the quality and amount of food you get is well worth the price, in my opinion!
Staff members are polite and friendly here, going above and beyond the call of duty. I once lost a credit card here, and even though they couldn't find it, they did their very best and wished me the best of luck! The atmosphere isn't bad either... the photographs on the walls are pleasing to the eye, but aren't distracting. It can be hard to hear them call your order number over the music and the noise of the crowd, but I suppose the way they do it now is less disruptive than when they kept fading the music to call the numbers over the speaker. Having the last-called order number on a screen might be helpful, though.
I'm knocking off a star because they are no longer available on Grubhub Pickup, and they charge credit card fees if you call it in. But other than that, it's great! Try their stromboli,...
Read moreUpdate: I recently decided to give them a chance at redemption after the owner contacted me. They have improved greatly. They seem to again be worth a try to anyone interested in trying a new york style slice. Is it as good as before, no it isn't. Is it good pizza, yes it very much is. I will leave the original review here so that the change is able to be appreciated.
Previous review: I have been a patron of this location for over 20 years. I would go in often enough that as soon as I walked in the door I was asked if I was having my "usual". In the last 3 months (since around the middle of March) it seems someone new is in charge of this site. The level of customer service has dropped into the toilet and the food quality is nowhere as good as it used to be. Sandwiches drip with grease, pizzas half done, cheese bread burnt. These are but a few examples I have received. I loved this place, but under this new management I don't think I can give them anymore of...
