McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in High Point

I don't know how you could dislike McAlister's. The overall quantity and quality of the food are in fact on par with the price. I wouldn't consider McAllisters phenomenally healthy, but it's still high quality lean meats with many healthy side dishes. My go to is the King Club with Steamed Brocoli (Keeps me full and satisfied for hours). And I would rather eat the King Club than a Chipotle Burrito. This is just one examples:

I judge food on how it makes me feel. Some restaurants I leave feeling a bit sick or sluggish. I always leave McAslisters satiated and with more energy than when I entered. To me, this speaks to the quality and lack of gunk preserves in their food.

In Closing: Relatively healthy food (great for those who exercise and strive to maintain a more tone body). You can check the calories of each item on the website. Most have high volumes of high quality protein along with moderate to minimal amounts of carbs and fats. Perfect for those on diets who still want tasty food. Finally, I want to commend the quality of the food for the shortness of the wait. McAllisters is a frequent stop for me. Give it a try if you haven't already. The best Deli in the state...

I placed an order online for a meeting. The order was placed at 10:00am. I requested to pick the order up at 11:35am. I received a confirmation email with a confirmation number from McAlister's. When I went to pick the order up, I was informed they hadn't received my order, however, they pulled it up and made the order, after asking me if I even wanted it. The manager on duty was rude, and told me that if I still wanted it, then I would have to wait, and that it would be at least 15-20 minutes. I had no choice at this point because I had to serve 7 people that were waiting for lunch. He never apologized and actually acted like it was my fault for ordering thru their online ordering instead of calling in. We do like the food and they are convenient to our office, however, we have a need for catering at least 2 times a week or more,and I will use Jason's Deli in the future. If I could give this location no stars I would. I love McAlister’s, I haven’t had issues when it came to the new garden location but today was just terrible at this location. It was convenient and down the street from my job. I order a spud potato around 5:40pm my lunch is over at 6:30.. I’m waiting and waiting and around 6:10pm I’m just confused. I asked the lady cashier if she knew what the hold up was and she told me they were out of potatoes. Now my problem became with the manager on shift today!!! How do you fail to tell someone there would be a 30+ minute wait for a potato and see if the customer wants to wait number one. And then you run out and couldn’t offer me something else ?
