The Vino Shoppe — Restaurant in High Point

Vino Shoppe checked all the boxes off for me in looking for a favorite wine venue. The atmosphere is lovely with several comfortable seating areas and the shop overall has a nice ambience. They have "events" each week with special prices on Thursday; and nice tastings each weekend. Their newsletter is welcome and gives me ideas for purchases as well as info on this weeks tasting. Great selection of wine for very reasonable prices. They are also great people. Every single staff member I’ve encountered was friendly, pleasant, and helpful. The wine tastings are a bang for your buck and I always purchase a bottle afterwards although there is no pressure to do so. Even the guests who visit during wine tastings are friendly and pleasant. My card didn’t go through for “wine club”. Yes, that was on me, however considering how much money I have spent here in total I do not expect to be called out on it in front of 2 total strangers. This is beyond unethical and shows no class whatsoever. I will never patronize this establishment again. There is a way to do things and this is not the way.
