Uncle Maddio's Pizza — Restaurant in High Point

We have come to Uncle Maddios for about a year now. Never had a problem until today. This is the only pizza place my child can safely eat a gluten free pizza due to celiac. I placed her order, every time before they change their gloves and use separate containers. This evening the man didn’t change his gloves and I questioned him. He had an attitude about changing the gloves. He contaminated the GF crust. He was getting ready to use it when I told him it was no longer good. Another attitude. After making the pizza he put in the pizza oven. They have always communicated with the staff who cut the pizza that there was an allergy pizza coming through. He didn’t. I told the staff when I checked out. The lady already had me rung up when I walked to the register. Thinking she got all 4 pizzas since my total was close to $60. When the pizzas were done only 3 were brought out where I was sitting. I went up to the cashier and said I was missing one. She said no they were holding it since I didn’t pay for it. The cashier before her didn’t ring up all of my order. So I’m not really sure how the first cashier missed my 4th pizza when I told her about the gluten free pizza and that the guy didn’t call it out. That last cashier had an attitude about it, with me not paying for the fourth pizza. I told her I would pay I just didn’t understand why the first cashier missed it when I told her about the GF pizza. While I was waiting on my pizzas a man walked up to the register and said you guys gave me an extra pizza. The cashier said oh ok, that’s the one for another pick up. Not sure what was going on up there...

Uncle Maddio's Uncle Maddio's Uncle Maddio's!!!! This was our first time eating here and it won't be the last I wanna first start with the staff David, Bronce, Ally, and Dave from the moment we( my 3 daughters and myself) stepped in the door they was attentive picking up on the fact that we was new there didn't know what to order they broke down how or what to order which made it easy to order and they really sold the product well mentioning deals and presented the product beautifully Then Ally was very friendly and helpful all the workers are truly such a much needed and important part of this establishment!! Now to the food O.M.G. ALL the ingredients was fresh,crisp, place was clean the side salad was huge and so delicious and the pizza was outstanding you can truly tell they prep their dough and it's homemade I ate the crust and all and if you can get me to eat the crust it's amazing you are missing out if you don't eat at Uncle Maddio's FACTS!!!! WELL DONE THATS HOW YOU RUN a business and make pizza definitely the top of my best pizza list thank you guys need more like...

My kiddo received a coupon (free kid's pizza and fountain drink with purchase--normally 4.99) at her summer camp and that brought us here. Thanks to this location for providing coupons for free food and supporting local organizations.

Assembly line type ordering/prepping process and the food is brought out to you after cooking. Dudes helping here were friendly and informative.

Kiddo used the coupon for the kid's pizza (6 inch). The crust on this was excellent. Choice of toppings and quite a bit to choose from. Solid. Side salad was good (3.99) but perhaps pricey for what it is.

I ordered a build-your-own calzone (9.99). Choice of three toppings on it. Comes with sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella. It was ok but the crust on it was excellent and this is what sticks out to me. Buttery garlicky goodness (I think this is what it was).

This is a hotspot for families with young kids as to the ones I saw there. It is great for a quick bite as well. Joint was clean and service was quick...
