Good Morning Donuts — Restaurant in Highland Village

The staff is so friendly and the donuts are delicious. I used to drive to Lewisville for Shipley's donuts until one day I was craving a donuts and saw Good Morning Donuts and decided to stop in; ever since, anytime I am picking up donuts, my go to is Good Morning Donuts in Highland Village.

There is a croissant like donut that I've never seen at any other donut shop. Square in shape, the fluffy layers are topped with sweet glaze. This donut is a must try when you visit GMD.

In this economy, the prices are very reasonable, even with a mix of regular and fancy donuts. I purchased a 1/2 dozen donuts (4 fancy, 2 glazed) and a dozen donut holes.

Should you decide to eat in, there are clean tables and a small assortment of beverages to choose for your liking.

My kids love this place! They have the best selection of kid-friendly donuts. They have the football shape, the mermaid tail, the holiday ones, the donuts with cartoon rings, the strawberry and chocolate donut holes, etc. We've tried other shops when they are closed on Tuesdays but nobody compares. I like the cronuts the best. If you haven't tried one, you need to. My husband likes the sausage rolls made with the flaky croissant dough. They are addictive and feel like they just melt in your mouth.

This is my favorite donut shop, I go pretty much every week. The owners are delightful, and the donuts are consistently delicious. The special donuts are always changing, but the cinnamon ones are always my first choice. I always get kolaches or breakfast items, and these ones are by far the best and cheapest in the area. On top of all that, there's tons of bottled drink options to go with whatever you get. Highly recommend this place. I've never had something I didn't like, and I've never had a bad experience...
