Recently, I made a 40-minute drive to Hillsboro to try Ali’s Smash Burgers, hoping for a quality meal. However, upon arriving and seeing the prices, it became clear that the food was far too expensive for what was being offered. The menu didn't seem to justify the high costs, and after some consideration, I decided it wasn’t worth spending that much.

Instead, I looked for another option nearby and came across a place called Philly Spot, which turned out to be a better choice in more ways than one. The prices were far more reasonable, and the food was of a noticeably higher quality. I ordered their chicken sandwich, which was priced at $16. For that price, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was surprised by how large and well-made it was. The portion was generous, and the sandwich itself was much better than anything I expected to find, especially after my experience with the first restaurant. It wasn’t just the size of the meal that stood out; the taste and presentation were both solid, especially for the price point.

I am absolutely shocked that this place has a 4.5 rating. I ordered the Philly it was by far the worst I ever tasted. I had my daughter try it to just to make sure I wasn't over reacting. My daughter agreed. Disgusting. EDIT: I am upgrading my review from 1 star to 2 stars since the owner did try to reach out and make it right.
