BIG RED FLAGS HERE!! This location was out of business maybe a month or so ago with debt notices posted to their front door saying they owed their ice vendor.
Rude customer service. - Michelle needs some training. It's not just what you say but also how you say it.
No name tags on the employees, or on the receipt.
So that's several indicators they lack accountability. They're hiding their names, and they're not paying their vendors. Can you trust them to keep the food safe.... IDK and if they didn't who would you talk to Employee #4209696
So if you are still reading here's the emo version of the complaint.
I haven't been in a subway for probably a year or more as the last time I went it cost 45$ for 2 sandwiches with chips cookies and a drink. This time my friend had a giftcard and he really wanted to take me out for lunch as it's important to him to show male friendship reciprocity. I agreed on the condition we could use the coupons I had just got in the mail. On the way there my friend discovers the coupon expired 2 days prior. Upon entry he immediately asked the sandwich artist on duty if he could still use the coupon. And instead of saying "I'm sorry no, I've tried them before our machines won't take them" Or "Sorry, not it won't work as it's invalid" she said "NOPE, IT'S INVALID" in honestly a tone that sounded like she didn't want to serve us. We were the only people in there at the time, so she would have had "idle" time if we weren't ordering sandwiches. This really irked me and I immediately decided I wasn't going to let my friend spend money on me at this establishment, but that he was 100% welcome to get his sandwich etc. He's on the spectrum and doesn't pick up on rude social cues sometimes. But after we discussed it he agreed she should have handled it better. I'd been curious for a while if subway STILL TOOK EBT because they used to at some point in time, and as long as the sandwich isn't hot I don't see why they would stop taking money from any consumer. So I asked her "Do you know if subway still takes EBT?" and she said "I don't think so" again this is a - I don't want to help you at all attitude. When a much better response would be, "I'm not sure, let me look into that for you." and then actually seeing if should could make the company more money but taking EBT.
And here's the final rant: I don't know why these poorly trained young people are so concerned with protecting the prophets of these massive corporations that literally only pay them because they have to. Now I could see if her family owned that franchise location protecting every single bit of prophet by denying a coupon and not offering any form of alternative kind gesture. As it was the discounted kind gesture that got us into that business location in the first place. It's like on one hand she denies the coupon to either make the company more money, or she didn't want to help us. And in the long run they permanently lost a customer, which costs the company money...

Read moreI’ve never been to this location before, especially since it had been closed for quite some time. Today I decided to stop in and get my husband and I lunch after my first shift at work, since it’s near home and I drive right by it. I put in an online order, said it would be ready at approximately 11:50am. I arrived at around 12pm to find 2 people waiting in line, I checked to online order pick up rack and my food wasn’t there, no biggie, so I sat down. The sandwich artist told one of the men in line that it would be awhile. Another lady walked in after me and wasn’t greeted, he told her it would be awhile because he was by himself and he was 5 online orders behind and there was nothing he could do about it. A couple other people walked in and he told them the same thing and they walked out, he then was preparing sandwiches for an online order and then saw him place the back on the pick up rack, I went over to look and it was mine my name was on it and my number, at this point it was about 12:20pm. I got to my car and I always check my food, and when I did, the order was wrong. He added things to my sandwich that I didn’t order, and wrong bread, then the other sandwich I ordered was missing things on it. So I went back in, he asked if I needed something and I explained the order was incorrect, I just barely got “the bread was wrong” out before he said “I didn’t have herbs and cheese” and I finished saying other stuff on both sandwiches were wrong. He asked “was it your order?” I said “yes, it had my name and phone number on it” and he very snotty responded “you shouldn’t be opening other peoples food” I at this point am annoyed, I said “It’s MY food, it has my name on it, I’m going to check MY food and thankfully I did or I’d have driven home with and incorrect order” he didn’t respond after that, I waited til he completed the man in lines order who has been there probably 30 minutes at this point, I get to the register and the worker says “so what do you need” and at that point I said “a refund” and handed over the food, he asked how much it was, and I told him, and then he ripped the receipt off the bag, he then pulled out his phone to call his manager, he said to leave my number and name and they would call me about a refund, I said “well will they actually call me?” And he went to hand me his personal phone and I said “no I’m don’t want to use your phone” he then proceeded to tell his manager that I said I didn’t want to talk to anyone, which is not what I said. I left my number and name so they can call about my refund. I ended up contacting my former boss at Subway who is now an owner of a Southern Oregon Subway, because I was just flabbergasted at the way the whole situation was handled and just had to share with someone who knows how a proper Subway is ran. It is also partly on the manager because there should not be one employee working during hours that typically get rushes. Moral of the story, I left with no food, no refund, and wasted almost an hour of my time. We will not be returning, frankly they should have...
Read moreI went here to get a sandwich with a free sandwich promo. The veggie wrap 🌯 is normally $10 but I like getting it anyway because I'm vegan. I had 400 kudos points that I used to get $2 off. When she put the olives on one of them it wasn't enough, and I feel jaded because it was literally like five olives on what was supposed to be a 6-inch size sandwich. I asked her to put more and she did, but it's it still wasn't enough. But when it came time to put the jalapenos on and I asked her she said yes and she put a generous amount and I'm happy about that. Both sandwiches weighed up to par because the amount of jalapenos that I had her put on there. I had to have her do it but I was not as jaded with the jalapenos as I was with the olives 🫒. Anyway I walked out of there with four supposedly 6 inch sandwiches but now with their new bread style it's like 4 and a half but they were only $2 a piece and I like that. God bless the free sandwich promo and the $2💸 off. Here are pictures of this totally bodacious...
