Came in a while ago. We walked in a little before an hour before closing. Someone’s greets us at the door and then tells us to hold on. They disappeared for about 5-10mins. They come back and proceed to tell us that last call for food is 15 minutes. I was confused about that as they don’t close for an hour and we walked in an hour and 15 mins before closing. We said that’s fine. They then sit us at a dirty table by the bar. She had to of known the table it was dirty! It was the first thing I noticed. I don’t complain really. So we still sit. As we are sitting the bartender sees us and starts to greet us in the best way possible! By pointing at our table. As she’s pointing at our table she’s clearly not happy. She’s goes up to the girl who sat us at the table (while she’s still pointing at our table) and the girl that sat us tells her she was told to sit us there and the bartender is making a huge fuss about us sitting in her section. I don’t believe in not tipping. I typically tip well over 20%. If you’re just decent I’ll leave 50% of my bill. Because I am a server and I know not every night is a good night!. However even if the bartender came back and served us I would not of wanted to leave any kind of tip after that. It’s not like we were the only table in there? There was probably about 5ish people at the bar and a few other tables in there! ALSO OVER AN HOUR BEFORE CLOSING! I’m a server and I have been for a long time. I don’t write bad reviews and I give people the benefit of the doubt but the bartender proceeded to get mad at the manger about us sitting at the table (while still pointing at our table) it was well known it was a issue we were sitting there. There’s a way to handle things and that’s not it. You need to take it to the back of house and talk it out or see if someone can help you out if your too stressed. I have never ate at this location but I can assure you I won’t be ever! THIS WAS THE RUDEST interaction I've ever had at a restaurant. & when we got up to leave while she was bickering with her manager not one of them maybe thought to even say anything. Like I said I’ve been a server and I’ve had people walk in 10 mins before closing and as though it’s annoying it is what it is and it comes with the job. NEVER HAVE I EVER HEARD in all of my years serving someone getting upset at a table walking in over an hour before closing. I would of thought (oh good more money) because the customers are who PAY YOU! I would not recommend this location if your expecting any type of good service. Read moreI'm at a loss for words, and I am not sure of what actually happened to my family and I at the Hiram location. We stopped in to enjoy the BOGO at 50%. We had a very sweetest waitress, but she seemed to be growing increasingly overwhelmed as the restaurant continued to fill with customers, and the majority of folks were stopping in to get the Tuesday special, because it's the very same reason I stopped in. I told the waitress once she stepped over to introduce herself that I wanted the special, and slowly advised what I wanted and more importantly WHY. The restaurant continued to fill up, and the wait for service grew longer and longer, and I was in no rush. The waitress confirmed the fact that I would be having the traditional wings BOGO 50% several times. She then looks at me and says " if you have a rewards account you can even get your wings free. I knew in my heart of hearts, that the server may have a misunderstanding of the promotion, but the Tuesday special was well worth stopping in, so I would have been fine to simply accepting the advertised promotion. When it came time to settle my tab, the server comes back to my table that I would need to go through the restaurant's app, HUNT down a reward offer, submit the rewards promotion through said app, and then apply the reward from the app, and the server would take the apps notifications and apply the reward for my DINE IN ORDER, and the promotion would be refected on my bill. Of course it didn't work, and I'm still trying to make it make sense. The server interjects that there is an even BETTER deal available, I take the suggestion, only to later be told that there is an extra step before the promotion offered could be applied. The server, to her credit, did seem genuinely embarrassed by the entire situation, but it's just bad business that this even happened. I shaped my entire order based on suggestion of my server. I have never experienced anything like this, and just being honest, it feels deceitful, and I would have addressed this while at the restaurant, but I didn't want to wait another 30 to 40 to get the issue addressed. It was just an all around poor experience, and the cherry on top for me was when the server brought me my receipts, and she happily pointed to the bottom of the receipt and pointed out that I earned points, but had just told me minutes before that she could not pull a reward account for the promotions she offered. It was around 3:00pm there was a sign that says seat yourself there was two young ladies sitting at the first booth and we was trying to decide if we wanted to sit at a table or the booth. My sister and I are some thick girls and when my sister sit down, it got quiet and one of the young lady said something and the waitress that was standing there she saying uh-huh, but she making faces at the same time until she noticed me watching her. She walks off and then she comes back. with a cup in her hand, the waitress starts back talking to the lady sitting at the table. She was waiting on, so I asked My Sister what just happened because I got so quiet and my sister say I really don’t give a shit. The young lady said something and another young lady came over. Took our order very sweet nice lady. we were waiting for our food and when the food comes, I find a piece of hair in my wings not one piece but two piece of hair so she take the food back and bring out some more. I asked her what was the young lady name? Serving at the front booth and she asked what happened so I explained to her and she got a manager. The manager comes over. She already has an attitude. And she starts saying if you didn’t hear what they were saying I can’t help you and I said ma’am, we didn’t ask you for no help so she proceeded to go out what I’m saying is I don’t know what they were saying. I don’t know what was saying so you don’t know what was saying they was talking about my sister in her weight in your waiter standing there joining in at this time, the manager walks away and comes back and say to us I don’t want you to leave here feeling any kind of way I talk with my waiter and she say they was talking about a racist movie and she thought that I heard what they say and that’s why she looked the way she look and walked off lady. You just added injury to the insult I also mentioned to the manager about Hair being in the sauce on the wings. She gave me a look like she did not care get up from the table and walk away.
