Every single time we come to this location it’s packed and you will likely have a wait time of an hour for in person dining and Togo orders unless you go when they first open or before closing which we did.
I placed a Togo order at 7:42pm, my pickup time was 7:58-8:03pm. We arrived at 7:55pm and was waiting for the “your order is ready” text message they send. We never got one until 8:38pm - while waiting for about 40 mins, I witnessed numerous workers walking in and out and coming outside from the kitchen. Nobody wearing hairnets or gloves, the workers did not look clean. They even had random people that did not seem like workers go inside in the kitchen. I’m assuming those are workers not on the clock. But still, it did not look professional seeing teenagers with half their stomach out and croptops and long braids going inside the kitchen. Men with braids with no hairnets or gloves.
I saw a young lady behind the Togo section countlessly on her phone. She hardly ever went back to the kitchen to grab the orders. I saw her with two orders and she would pause and be on her phone. Mind you they were not busy at all it was almost 9pm at this time and they close at 10pm. Anyways I was hoping I would get the text message soon since I saw those two orders being made slowly. I went inside once the order was ready, and she gave me the bag rudely. Checked it in the car and all of it ice cold. Stone cold.
I went back inside and told her and they remade it within 5-10mins. I knew it was microwaved, it felt warm but I didn’t want to take a bite out of my sandwich in front of them or the car. Went back home only about a 10 min drive. And the fries were stale and cold like it’s been microwaved and the bacon quac chicken sandwich was chewy and cold like it’s been microwaved like leftovers. I was beyond pissed. The chicken tortilla soup had rice in it, at least I’m assuming it was. It was disgusting, I’ve been a chilis customer for about 10+ years and that soup has never not even once had rice in it. That is very dangerous how this location adds different ingredients that is not what is listed on the chilis website for people who have allergies.
I called the manager and she did not seem surprised with anything I was saying and she gave me half my money back. We will never come back to...
Read moreWent in today to have dinner. We had the $22 for 2 menu items; Wife had the mango-chile chicken, which was dry and had way too much corn on it. Comes with side of broccoli and rice. I had the bacon ranch steak quesadilla, very plain, burnt, and very greasy. We both could only eat a little of our meals, so we won't order those again.
Our server was Brandon, very pleasant gentleman, very efficient and helpful.
Older review: We went here this past week and haven't gone to this Chili's in Hiram over several years, and though I never thought very much of their menu it certainly has gotten better since last were last there a couple years ago. The service was good, if slow , and the food was also very good this time. I guess I'd rather have a little slower service if the food was good, so that was the case this visit.
I ordered the mango grilled tilapia plate, which was very flavorful and delicious. It came with a side orders of choice, I got the mashed potatoes, which were also delicious. My wife had the filet mignon which she enjoyed, and I tried it also, very succulent and cooked perfect (to medium rare, her choice).
Our kids ate off the children's menu, which gives you a very good selection and pretty large portions for a child's menu. My daughter tried the strawberry lemonade, which we had never tried; very tasty and a great thirst quencher on a hot day.
All in all a good experience. We had stopped going there for a few years but they have gotten better since then. Will recommend again and will definitely return.
Update: Returned today, they have A new menu. I ordered the 6oz sirloin and asked for it to be cooked medium, it was cooked well, and though it tasted good it was not cooked the way I wanted it. For a side I got the loaded mashed potatoes, they were really good. Unfortunately they don't serve any rolls or bread of any kind before or during your meal, which is kind of cheap.
My wife had the half order of ribs and asparagus, hers was pretty tasty, the ribs were lathered in a BBQ sauce which tasted ok but was difficult to wipe off your fingers. They should provide some wet wipes to clean your hands. Service was slow but server was polite. Meal costed about $30, I only had a tea and wife had water, so a little pricey, but overall a...
Read moreI find myself writing reviews more and more these days. The quality of service at restaurants as a whole has become terrible. So my family of four stopped at this restaurant to eat around 7:30 PM on a Friday night. The wait was exactly what the hostess said it would be, about 15 mins so the experience started off good. We didn't even get seated and our waitress was asking us for our drink order, and this wouldn't be a big deal but we have a two year old my wife is trying get in her booster seat and a five year old begging to sit beside his sister so obvioisly we weren't even ready to order. We finally get settled in and we order our food and everything is going fine until we get our food. My wife order a steak medium, and received a piece of leather I wouldn't feed to my dog, I got a guacamole burger medium that was literally crunchy it was so burnt, my son got some chicken crispers you couldn't break in half because they were rubber, and the light at the end of the tunnel was my 2 year old daughters pasts which was actually really good, so kudos to the cooks for making her meal edible! My wife and I met in the food business and between us both worked in it for 10 years so when I tell you we never complain, WE NEVER COMPLAIN! We told the waitress about all the problems we had and she looked at the food and agreed it was cooked all wrong, and she offered to re-cook it and we said no because at this point we were tired and just wanted to get home. We each left over half of our entrees on the table to be discarded and the waitress drops the check off and I was shocked to see the we got a $7.52 discount on our check. The manager never came over and spoke to us and when I ask for him the waitress came back over and said she couldn't find him. I then proceeded to ask for his card so I would know who to speak to and he didn't have one of those either. Our terrible meal wasn't the worst part of the experience, the manager not even acknowledging us and giving us $7 off of four entrees made me feel our patronage is not important to Chili's. We didn't expect a free meal by any means but what we received was as slap in the face . We won't be back...
