I came in, ordered 2 simple drinks (an iced mocha and a mocha frozen coffee, and spent a total of 10 minutes waiting for them. Once I got them both, I tried them. The iced mocha was okay, not exactly as I ordered it but not worth waiting another 10 minutes for a new one. The frozen coffee was regular, no mocha. I asked the girl to put mocha in it, she walked back complaining that this task was taking her longer than she wanted it to. I waited 4 more minutes for the drink to be corrected. She finally brought it back, didn’t say a word to me, didn’t apologize for the mix up. I work in the service industry and I personally would not have conducted myself this way. I also wouldn’t want the company I work for to have negative reviews of my service. It was unacceptable. I haven’t been to this location in months due to the two other experiences I’ve had. I hate to write any reviews other than positive ones, but something needs to change in this store.
Edit and update: I visited this location again today, in attempt to give it another try. Also, I was rushing so I didn’t have time to go out of my way to visit a different Dunkin’. The swipe function on my debit card didn’t work in the card reader, so I had to type in my card number and what not. I told the girl I was sorry for holding up the line, they were pretty busy at that moment and I felt bad. I have a pride flag print on my card, so it’s a rainbow, but it’s just colors on the card, like any other card design. The girl told me that it was “probably all those crazy colors that’s making it not work”. Honestly this insulted me, I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, as there was an audience, and as I stated before, they were busy. I tried not to read too far into it, but it bothered me, the pride flag is my personal way of having a little self expression, and in her mind, it’s causing my card to not work. Just rude.
Also, when I walked in, I had waited about 5 minutes or so before my order was taken. At the moment i walked in, a man behind the counter was calling out for a large iced coffee, cream and sugar. I ordered my usual large iced mocha, extra cream and sugar. I’m not sure if he used this same coffee for my order or not, but I’m skeptical that he did. Because once I got my order, the coffee was sitting at the end of the counter, ice mostly melted in the coffee, and barely any mocha flavor, also definitely not extra sugar in it. I strongly believe he used that same coffee he had already called out, almost eight minutes before at this point, and just put a small amount of chocolate syrup in it. Read moreThe Hiram location has been going down hill since before Covid. So have most of the others across the world and I just can't bring myself to go there anymore. Placing Pickup orders with drinks and sandwiches works 80% of the time, but if you put donuts on your order, you still have to wait in line to place the order that they already have to get them.
Last time I placed a pickup order on 3/26/2022, I got my sandwiches, stood in line to pickup the donuts and they still took 30 minutes to get 2 coffee's out to me that weren't even correct. This isn't so much about the staff there as it is their process, but to that, there is no consistency to the way they make drinks either. I can order the same thing every time, and there is a 50/50 chance it will be right. I am just over it.
This is one of the main reasons people prefer going to Starbucks. You can order some "foo foo" drink and its made the same way from Georgia to California and if you specialize it to your own recipe, or just order Regular Coffee and Latte's, they are the same every time.
The only thing Dunk'n can do consistently is provide black coffee... maybe.

Read moreWe go to Dunkin alot, in the morning, and have great experiences. However, we went in the evening last night and it was a totally different atmosphere. When we arrived there were 2 customers waiting on drinks and I was waiting on the order taking end of the counter. The manager, only person up front???? On the phone, speaker phone, with her family talking about Christmas gifts!!!! She finally finishes her conversation to realize she had only made one drink for the 2 ladies, they tell her that there is also a customer waiting. A young gentleman finally comes to take our order. He seems new, so I order slow so he can find items on the register. He rings my drink in wrong, it's okay he's new no biggie, but then gets an attitude and says I ordered wrong. I just had to walk away and let my husband finish the order. The lack of customer service was disappointing. Based on this experience I wouldn't go back, thankfully I know to go in the mornings when the friendly customer focused...
