I would just like to say that I’ve eaten at this restaurant many, many times and have had the normal amount of issues that you would have at any restaurant that you frequented that often. My last experience though really was calling on me to write this review. I had a very unappetizing togo order yesterday. I had ordered 1 pound of pulled chicken with all white meat. I got home to find out it wasn’t all white meat and that it included raw chicken. I called the manger as soon as I got home only to be treated like a suspect in a crime. Are you sure you ordered white meat? I said yes I’m sure. Well, we’re out of white meat we’ve been out of white meat what time did you call? I said I called about 7 o’clock. He said oh, well that was around the time that we ran out. And then it was didn’t you check it before you left? Well, they wrap the meat about three times in cellophane so no I didn’t. The next thing was, well, you’ve had problems with your chicken in the past. Yes, I have. One time you gave me turkey instead of chicken. One time you gave me dark meat instead of white meat. And one time you gave me chopped instead of pulled. Those seem like legitimate issues to me. I offered to send him a picture of the food numerous times but he wasn’t interested. What that tells me is he’s just trying to appease me. He doesn’t even care enough to take the picture so that he can show it to his staff and at least hold someone accountable for sending out food that could get someone sick. And lastly, I wish that people were able to figure out that the more money and the more often you go to a restaurant, the percentage of issues goes up. So I don’t think that when you eat somewhere as often as I have eaten there and had four complaints over two years is really that out of line. And I also wish that they could use some logic in looking at the amount of money that I spend there and the amount that I tip and figure out that maybe I’m not someone just trying to maybe get free food or whatever they were trying to make me feel like I was doing. The manager offered to give me a credit that would be waiting for me at the restaurant, but needless to say I wanted a refund. I will not...

The food was delicious. My only complaint for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the meats were kind of dried out. I had the brisket sandwich meal with mac and cheese and collard greens and a jalapeño chedder sausage. My fiancé had the 1lb rib plate with a loaded baked potato and chili. For the appetizer, we had the loaded queso dip (comes with pieces of chedder sausage, but we decided to have it without the sausage), and we were given a complimentary basket of mini cheddar muffins. The muffins and the queso dip to start were very good. My mac and cheese and collards were delicious. Just the greens needed a little salt, which I added, and they were perfect. I had my brisket sandwich with rich marbled brisket instead of lean brisket. The slices and amount of meat were spot on but some parts of the brisket was very dry and was not very marbled but I did find a piece that had a nice fat to meat ratio, that was tender and perfectly seaosoned and it was DELICIOUS!!.. I wished the whole sandwich was like that, I would have ordered another Togo if it was..the cheddar sausage was delicious as well. They skin of the sausage was a little tough, but the inside was juicy and had great flavor. I tried his brisket chili, and we both agreed that it was good. It just needed a dash of salt. He didn't enjoy his ribs too much because some pieces were very tough, and he had a hard time biting a piece off the bone and some pieces he had to chew for a while. I had a bite of one of the more juicy looking ribs, and it was flavored well, and the smoke was on point. I wanted to try his baked potato, but it looked dry, so I decided not to. I asked him if it was, and he said no, that it was good, so that was good as well.. All in all, I'd go back and get the sandwich again but I'd get it chopped instead of sliced and will request to the server to let the kitchen know that I love a good fatty brisket, so they don't have to worry about cutting off alot of fat. Lol.. I do want to try their turkey sandwich and pie as well. Service was decent. He seemed overwhelmed with the 4 tables he had, so maybe he was having a small off day. Atmosphere was...

Beware of horrible customer service, rude and disrespectful attitudes from staff, cold food and an unexpected high dollar amount on my check. First, we were greeted by a very fast paced flying-by-the-seat-of-her-pants hostess. Don’t really know if they were short staffed and she was trying to do too many jobs at one time just being one person or if she was on drugs🤷🏻. Anyway we’re we’re then ushered to a table that was not clean and shortly thereafter our server Sandra came up to the table and my wife and I told her that it was dirty and she stated “ This is what I pay the hostess for in a very rude fashion and b told us to hang on a minute and stormed off. My wife and I thought she was going to grab rag and some cleaning solution and wipe our dirty table down instead she went in search of the already super busy doing-to-many-things-at-one-time-hostess which completely floored my wife and I ( like she was above wiping tables!) I told her to just bring me the stuff and I’d wipe it myself. AFTER THAT IT WAS ALL DOWN HILL FROM THERE. Our Server Sandra remained rude, condescending and disrespectful right until the end. The customer service we encountered last week was so atrocious that we will not come back and eat at this establishment. However, I will say that we came in about a month ago and had had dinner and had a great server with great customer service skills and positive attitude. I can’t remember her name but she had Dark short hair and a pretty cool tattoo sleeve on her arm. She told us about the survey on our receipt I could do to save $5 on our next purchase which I happily obliged and made sure to acknowledge her as being an excellent team member. Even though this is really our first bad experience at Jim n nicks, the severity of the overall bad last visit trumps them all… WE WILL NOT BE BACK , BYE BYE BABY BACK RIBS. You will...

Haven't been here in a long time, since before their remodel. The remodel looks great and very inviting. My friend and I got seated in one of the small side rooms. It was not comfortable at all. The chairs in this room were super uncomfortable and didn't fit well for me as a plus size woman. We asked to be moved and they moved us no problem. Now let's talk about the food. My friend and I both got the loaded potatoes. The potato itself was tuff maybe it's how they cook them. My friend got the pulled pork. He got a really good sizable amount of pulled pork it was looking good. Then I looked down at mine and I got chopped brisket and was disappointed it wasn't much of anything. Also let's just say my brisket was one step away from being bacon because it was so dried out. My portion of brisket was so small. I thought to myself "this is all?" Had I not drowned it in BBQ sauce it would have tasted not so great. Very very dry and tuff. The Biscuits are always good but almost needed to be cooked a bit longer. Service.. it was just ok. It seemed like everyone wasn't having a good day. Our server was nice but he seemed like he disappeared so much or didn't have a rhythm to how he checked on tables. Based on the food I'm like ... Did the remodel take away from the food? Or maybe just better luck next time.
