Basile's Pizza — Restaurant in Hoboken

So I ordered their biggest size pizza they offer. While I was sitting there this Mexican guy started making my pizza he didn’t even wash his hands!!! When he took the pizza out of the oven he ask me to check if the pizza was looking good, and everything was fine till then. But this is where my ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WENT DOWN THE DRAIN!!! As he was about to cut my pizza I simply asked him to clean the cutter because it had lots of meat on it. Because I am vegetarian and I don’t want any meat on my PIZZA plus I had paid over 30 dollars for a GOD DAMN VEG PIZZA. And this MEXICAN DUDE TURNS AROUND AND REPLIED TO ME BY SAYING THIS IS NOT HALAL HERE IN HIS BROKEN LANGUAGE. I clearly understood what he was trying to say even though he couldn’t speak English very well. And I thought to myself this Mexican guy which our president labeled as a gang member and rapist but literally half of the Americans in this country are standing up for him and calling out the president on how racist this country is becoming because of his remarks on people and their background. Meanwhile this guy had some major balls making some rude comments about HALAL FOOD and all I asked him to clean the cutter and he automatically assumed that I was out looking for HALAL PIZZA! I know the owner of this place won’t do anything to change their customer service policy because all the DRUNKS AND COPS EAT THERE AND THEY REALLY THINK THOSE ARE THE ONLY TWO KINDS STOPPING BY TO PICK UP PIZZA AT HIS PLACE, So why care about what other people have to say about his employees and their attitude. ITS CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE. Plus no one is asking for free pizza as matter of fact this place charges...

Not only was there pizza burnt, but let’s talk about how I had my child with me and (kids are always I want/I don’t want) well she decides lays minute she wanted garlic nots, the guys begin the counter was not only rude but decided to tell me I should have order that when I order my other stuff, now my wife comes in and asks if she can get a wet cloth so SHE can wipe the table down n he said NO take a napkin n clean it. The service there was absolutely atrocious. I also witnessed him be extremely rude to someone asking for the pepper shaker— pepper shaker can you believe that. Now I have been going to that same spot for yrs!! Today is a day that I am 100% not only did they loose my family of 8 as customers but I watch n heard a. Few other say never again. They really need to check or revise the supervision is not placed. N the guy behind the counter well. I am just going to pray for his. Cause I really could have been extremely disrespectful is I wanted but I kept my cool..

How does estimated delivery time go from 25 - 30 min to 1 hour and 30 min without even a call to let the person know???? Awful customer service. I haven't tried the pizza yet and hope its worth it? It is now 11:20 and still have not received my pizza. I called to find out where it was and they said they gave it to the seamless driver long ago. I called Seamless and they told me they use their own drivers. In addition to poor customer service at Basile Pizza, they also lie to them. Seamless called the rest. and they told them it went out at 10:04 and that they would resend the pizza. I will continue once I receive the Pizza. Never Again will I make this mistake and as others have complained about super late deliveries, I thought sometimes those are far and few between but for sure this is the norm for them.
