The ambience was good, and great location if you have kids it’s close to the waterfront, playground.
I went here with my family, everyone was so hungry and cold today. I saw this restaurant on a IG post however food was disappointed ☹️. I placed all the order right away so we can eat and leave but the food took a while even tho the place wasn’t crowded at all. People started to coming in afterwards. Coffee came up cold (just a bit warm), for todays weather this was very sad. Maybe they weren’t prepared for todays brunch but my grandma finish her coffee before she had the 1st course. Salmon toast , smell a bit too fishy for my grandma. I don’t eat salmon, so I don’t know exactly the taste but she wasn’t happy at all.
My onion soup was just warmed, the only good 1st course was the Quiche , my babies ate it right away , my grandma tried it and she loved it as well.
Steak & eggs. The steak was super cold, we ask for medium and came out rare. My brother couldn’t eat it. The fries were crispy but it has a smell/taste of seafood idk why. My brother ending eating only the egg and a bit of the fries.
Eggs Benedict with lobster and without lobster; I had try the Hollandaise sauce at different places, and it’s so good. This sauce it’s what make the egg taste so good. However the sauce in here didn’t have any flavor. I didn’t even see the sauce. The bread wasn’t even toasted and everything was cold. They need to fix the kitchen staff or something because it’s not fear to pay for something you don’t enjoy ,
We were seating at this place for more than hour & half, I don’t mind waiting if the food it’s worth it and this...
Read moreTHANK YOU!! I messaged Brass Rail very last minute a few days before Christmas Eve, having to quarantine for Christmas my SO and I still wanted a festive meal but without having to order a ton of different ingredients and cook when not feeling well. The team at the Brass Rail was phenomenal - they fit us into their list for a meal we only had to heat up. They even offered to deliver the food to us!! This picture doesn't show how phenomenal everything was, nor how much they included. We had a delicious Christmas ham dinner and a chicken that we think was sous-vided bc it was just SO juicy even after being microwaved. This is after the salad that was jam packed with flavor and texture, a light but hearty chestnut soup, and when a personal charcuterie set up for each of us! But my favorite part didn't even have a chance to get pictured as we dove in so fast- the dessert and omg.. we split a fruit cake bread pudding and a pear crisp, both served with a creme anglaise and what almost tasted like a gingerbread caramel. The crisp had perfectly cooked pears balanced with a not-too-sweet crumb topping that was jam packed with winter flavors (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, maybe a dash of cardamom?) and the bread pudding was rich but light in texture and soaked up the crème anglaise. In the end we even had enough for Christmas lunch leftovers!
Truly happy and appreciative of how much the Brass Rail put care into these dishes, I hope you know the impact it brought to an otherwise potentially sad occasion being alone at the holidays- so thank you and we hope to be back and in...

I was pleasantly surprised by my dining experience at Brass Rail. My expectations were not too high since the restaurant just had okay reviews. But I was convinced to try this place out when I saw the RW menu. So I made a reservation via Open Table and headed over there one Friday night.
For $29, you get an appetizer, entree, and dessert. For my app, I went with the Truffle Meatballs and Gnocci. The meatballs were a tad dry but the flavor was great, and so was the creamy sauce it was served in. My BF went with the tuna tartare, which I thought was just okay. Both were pretty big portions though, for appetizers. For the entree, we both ordered the Garlic-Rubbed Skirt steak. This was cooked perfectly at the medium rare I asked for. The little bit of blue cheese crumbles and the crispy shoestring potatoes were a very nice touch. For dessert, I chose the mango sorbet. I was expecting one scoop but it came out with three! I couldn't finish it all but it was a nice and refreshing end to a pretty heavy meal. BF wanted the oreo cheesecake, which they ran out of - so he had the Nutella creme brulee. He ended up being glad that they ran out of the cheesecake because he really enjoyed the creme brulee. I did too - even though I'm not a fan of nutella.
Overall, a great experience. However, it's pretty loud so it's probably not the best place to go to if you're trying to catch up with someone. Still, I definitely don't mind coming back to try their regular,...
