Decided to order beef egg foo young. I asked for my rice to be in a separate container because sometimes it’s too much gravy. She said it would be an extra $1.00 for that. Pretty pricey for a throw away bowl. Anyways upon paying she had gloves on she took my money. With the same gloves she started messing with the bowl and the food in the buffet. Highly unsanitary. I happen to mention that it was unsanitary and she slammed the plastic container on the counter. I said I don’t want that bowl. She caught an attitude because I spoke on what I noticed. So then instead of taking the gloves off and washing her hands, she reaches on the other side of the cash register and uses the sanitizer pump that’s for the customers. So clearly it means they don’t have any back there for themselves to use because they don’t use it. So I asked her to refund my money. I don’t want to spend my money at any establishment where they don’t practice safe hygiene. I bet she wears them same blue and black gloves everyday! I should send the health department in.
My suggestion is go to Mr. You’s on Riley. The people are nice and it’s clean and they practice safe hygiene. Every-time I have been to the one on River the food is dry, old, and the service of the lady at the cash register...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I recently dined at Mr. You Chinese Food, and we had an amazing experience. She ordered the Orange Chicken, while I went for the Szechuan Shrimp, and both dishes were fantastic. The portion sizes were more than generous, easily filling us both. The Orange Chicken was spot on — a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and the pork fried rice that came with it was absolutely wonderful.
As for the Szechuan Shrimp, it was delicious, though a bit on the salty side. Still, the flavor was tremendous, and the ratio of shrimp, rice, and vegetables was just right. I opted for the shrimp fried rice with mine, and it complemented the dish perfectly.
One thing to note: there’s not much in the way of staff interaction beyond placing your order, and I feel like the restaurant could benefit from its own standalone building instead of being attached to a gas station. It creates a bit of an odd vibe. That said, the food more than makes up for it, and we’ll...
Read moreI stopped and ordered lunch this afternoon and the food was served cold, noodles were extra oily , quality and taste was horrible. As I went back to the counter to let cashier know and to ask if I could exchange for the egg rolls since they appeared freshly cooked. The cashier was sitting at a table in the corner cutting a pineapple. She (wasn’t wearing gloves by) the way and yelled without getting up” What do you want!!! as I was attempting to explain, she rushed to her cash register, pulled money from the register and waved her hand in a no gesture .Not only was the food crappy, the cashier very rude, and overall unprofessional. The very rude cashier should have washed her hands after all of that , but went to serve food to the customer standing behind and back to cutting the pineapple . Now I know why the food was nasty.. because the cashier was nasty as well! 🤮You don’t need to work in the kitchen at any restaurants or with customers! Stay...
