Where do we even begin? From day one, despite the global pandemic, Jessica and the entire Midtown Center team were an absolute dream to work with. As a Type A planner myself, I quickly knew Jessica & her team paid extraordinary attention to detail and would do an exceptional job executing our wedding day plans. There were so many times throughout our wedding planning process that COVID restrictions made our wedding seemingly impossible. However, Jessica & the Midtown team did a fantastic job keeping us updated on the restrictions and encouraging us in our planning process. As we got closer to our wedding, Jessica, Abby & Mindy helped us plan our timeline, venue layouts, and decorations. Their help and insights were invaluable. On our wedding day, they were there to help coordinate, answer questions, and celebrate with us. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful Midtown was and how much they loved our wedding celebration. Our wedding truly was a celebration - thank you, Jessica & team, for making our dreams happen! I thoroughly regret having my wedding reception at Midtown Center. They purposely kept the volume too low on the microphone system making it impossible for my guests to hear the speeches, the musical solos, and games. The microphone issues were due to MC trying to appease their neighbors but in return they made it so that even the people at the headtable couldn't hear the big speeches and toasts.The microphone/sound system "issues" were by far the most unforgiveable and humiliating choice thing they did to me but they were also extremely controlling with decorations and event ordering. They moved my decorations around from where I wanted them and they tried to deny us using the sprinklers outdoors because it wasn't in their event plan. Midtown Center is hosting Food Truck Tuesdays again for the dinner with live entertainment each week. Such a great community building idea! Food Truck was Wok Me Up. Owner was extremely personable and Food was amazing! Loved it. I had the Bulgogi Rice Bowl and my friend got the Chicken Rice Bowl. The beef and chicken were well seasoned and very tender. Portion size was perfect. I also got an egg tart for dessert. Thank you Jubilee Ministries for organizing the Food Trucks and live music.
