🌮Taco+Bar🌮 I don’t know about you, but all of the cute taco places popping up in West Michigan make my heart SO happy! Taco + Bar is just a minute or two minute drive from the downtown area in Holland and is super adorable! The menu has an extensive amount of taco options and they even have taco BOWLS! (Why go to Qdoba or Chipotle when you can have a locally made taco bowl!) They have indoor and outdoor seating and the garage doors are normally open, so even if you are inside you get the outdoorsy patio feel! ✨🤩 They have a super cute mural outside and inside you will find their bar with brews on tap! Also we would just like to say the simple taco + bar light up sign by the bar is SO CUTE! A couple of honorable mentions: -The chips and guac!! šŸ„‘ -Chicken Tacos šŸ” -Al Pastor Tacos 🌮

By far the best tacos I had in W Mi!!! I had asada, carnitas and al pastor, and at first glance i questioned the look of them, but in food the appearance doesn’t always have to be traditional, the flavor is what matter! And the flavor was there, on every freaking bite!! Fresh ingredients with a modern take on something so old, everything in the shell worked!! Of course the salsas were to die for, this is one if not the only restaurant by far were the salsa and the taco are at the same level. Spicy but with a lot of flavor and not just heat! Perhaps the only thing I hope to see in the future are some home made tortillas! Great staff and great environment!!! Please check the place out!!!

This place is awesome! My wife and I are semi-taco snobs and this is by far the best taco place we’ve found in all of west Michigan. I personally have been to 15+ taquerias in west Michigan and this one is at the top of the list for me. The chips and guacamole were awesome! Between my wife and I, we got 5 of the 7 tacos on the menu and they were all 5 out of 5 stars. My personal favorite is a tie between the fish taco and the cauliflower taco. So freaking good and really unique. My wife also got a glass of the Spanish red and she said it was solid! Definitely worth checking out ASAP! Good job Taco+Bar!

We recently heard about taco & bar and were excited to check it out while in town. The tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had, unique and well paired combinations! Though the tacos were beyond our expectations, I couldn’t give 5 stars due to the poor service and disposition toward children. As we approached the entrance, a waitress loudly told the hostess for us to hear intentionally, ā€œwe do not have booster seats or a children’s menu!ā€. We fully understand a new establishment’s atmosphere is essential to maintain, but we have a very well behaved preschooler who is a mini-foodie and incredibly use to appropriate restaurant behavior, the kid does not even know chicken nuggets or Mac & cheese. Had the hostess kindly relayed the lack of kid items, it wouldn’t have been a big deal, but doing so in an intentionally unwelcoming way upon entry, was a turn off. Honestly, we’ll be back, the tacos are that good. But I’d like to encourage the staff to be more mindful of commentary for...

We were excited to try this place out and were disappointed. We got seated before they even had cleared off and cleaned the table. We looked pass this as we knew they were trying to turn tables. We waited 10 minutes for a waitress to greet us and promptly ordered. Then we waited another 20 minutes for our drinks and chips and Guacamole. An hour into our seated experience we still had no dinner and tables that were seated 30 minutes after us were getting their meals. We questioned our waitress who had been Mia for 30 minutes and she came back and admitted she didn’t submit the order. We told her we would cash out and leave. At this point you think she would be offering to Comp our drinks or something and try to get our food out to us. However that didn’t happen. It’s too bad as we were excited to try this place. We noticed another table with our same experience also decided to leave. I’d go get street tacos over by Tulip City and...

Simple & modern twist on a taco joint- we tried it on a Friday night about 7pm, Got the last outdoor table. Place was full, which is a good sign. Server/waitstaff were very friendly and attentive but also chill. Didn’t feel pressured to over order. I was very pleased with my chicken and blackened fish tacos- they’re on the pricey side for what they are- but the restaurant has a fancier date spot vibe so it makes sense. I was not impressed by the chips and queso- queso was a grainy texture. Overall, good spot for a date night or friend meet up- everyone says their margaritas are very good- we only did water tonight. They use old tequila bottles to serve chilled water at each table which was an eclectic detail to the dining experience šŸ˜‹ it’s a cute outdoor patio off The busy stretch of 8th avenue across from an industrial plant- but somehow it still works! Lots of flowers and over head light...
