reviews do not match reality...
we saw the 6k+ reviews and opted for this place over others and either we were unlucky or the reviews are questionable and we still wonder how you can accumulate 10x reviews compared to the other places around, especially with so few seatings.
ambience - very basic and mid-way into our lunch someone thught it is a great idea to set-up a boom box with screaming music, so you could no longer understand eachother, right next to us. neither was the music good nor was the position appropriate. nice to sit by the boardwalk, but many places offer that.
service - after a good start the waitress disappeared and to order another round of beers we had to get up and look for our waiter two times. for the bill it was the same - go and find the waiter.
food - probably the biggest disappointment. we had the three seviche flight, which sounded wonderful, but two of the three lacked in flavour, the pieces were cut too large and only the cehiche without any bread for the sauce. we had to order an extra steamed rice (a little cup for 5 USD + tax) to do something with the sauce. the other disch we had missed the shrimp that were in the description and flavour was a little better, but nothing to come back for.
PRICE - all in all it was a mediocre experience and we certainly will not come back (plenty of other options) and the bill came to over 120 USD for one stater and one main course (in total not per person) and a few beers !!!! totally over priced for what you get. we cannot...

My recent dining experience at 7 tables on the beach was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was inviting, with subtle Peruvian decor that set the stage for an authentic culinary journey.
The culinary highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the ceviche. Each bite burst with freshness, showcasing the perfect balance of citrus, spice, and seafood. The lomo saltado was equally impressive, with tender strips of beef stir-fried to perfection and combined with colorful peppers and onions.
What truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service provided by our server, Angelica. Her attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were remarkable, guiding us through the diverse selection with enthusiasm and expertise. Angelica's friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience, making us feel like valued guests throughout the evening.
Overall, our visit to 7 tables on the beach was a culinary delight from start to finish. The combination of exquisite dishes, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service made it an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to explore the vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine. We'll certainly be returning soon for another...
Read moreI had high expectations for this place given the reviews but boy what an awful experience. Definitely not authentic Peruvian food as found out the owner is Colombian. He is actually the annoying chubby guy talking overly loud and sarcastically to customers. The beef lomo saltado we had was supposedly made with filet mignion but this is not true at all. The meat we got served with our lomo saltado was tough to cut and even tougher to chew. The Papa a la huancaína we had was overly bland in taste and the fish ceviche needed more flavor as it tasted of pure lemon only. The service was horrible. Saw our waitress only one time and that was to take our order and I had to get up twice to ask for salt since it wasn’t brought to me the first time I asked so that I can season the overly bland unauthentic an overly priced food. Not to mention that the owner of this place like in true Colombian fashion is ripping people off by charging an extra 4% fee if you pay by card and has the audacity to charge you on top of that an automatic 18% service fee even if you are just a party of 1 (see the attached receipt). Please take my advice, stay away from this place and go to Pachamanka Authentic Peruvian Cuisine if you want to taste real authentic Peruvian cuisine; it is right up the block only 2 or 3 min walk and...
