Double Deez Chicago Style Restaurant — Restaurant in Holmes Beach

We have lived on the island for 2 years and because I'm not a big hot dog fan, I almost missed out on this gem! Luckily, I saw that they got rave reviews for their Italian Beef sandwich and I'm so glad I did. We ordered take-out on a rainy Sunday just before they closed and our order was ready in about 10 minutes. The Italian beef with sweet peppers and mozzarella cheese dipped in au jus was SO tender and delicious with just the slightest bit of heat. I took a picture after I cut it in half to show just how much juicy meat was packed into this monster sandwich. The onion rings were battered, which is my favorite way to eat them, and were seasoned really nicely. These portions were HUGE so my fiancé and I split one sandwich and one order of onion rings and we were both stuffed. I recently visited Double Deez's in Holmes Beach, and I can't rave enough about this family-owned Chicago-style hot dog restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the friendly service made us feel right at home.

The staff was incredibly nice and provided us with plenty of recommendations on things to do in Chicago, which was a delightful added touch. The family-friendly environment made our meal even more enjoyable.

The food was outstanding—served fast, fresh, and incredibly tasty. Each hot dog was a perfect representation of authentic Chicago-style, and we savored every bite.

Tried this place for the first time. Excellent food, friendly service. My recommendations would be (and I am not criticizing anything about this place) 1, Darken your name on your sign. I couldn't find you even though I was looking for you. 2, On the Chicago dog, cut the tomato in half and heat the bun. The flavor is so good, but the bun falls apart because of too much liquid. 3. Open earlier. I saw people come/go starting at 11am. 4. Check your soft drink machine-my soft drink tasted like it was going through the same line as the other flavors.
