This spot is definitely among the top three omakase experiences in Hawaii, including Hihimanu, Onodera. Sushi Sho is overated, IMO. I've been to about 70% of the high-end sushi restaurants across the islands and plan to try them all eventually, and this place holds its own. The pricing is fair for the high quality you get. Each piece of fish is incredibly refined, fresh, and generously portioned. It's BYOB, so be sure to bring a bottle of wine or sake if you’d like a drink with your meal. I was a bit skeptical at first since there are only a handful of reviews, despite the restaurant having been around for three years. But every review I saw was positive. I think the limited buzz might be due to the restaurant’s quirky name “@sushi,” which plays on the chef/owner’s name, Atsushi. It’s meant to be unique, though it comes off a little cheesy. Don't let the name or the unassuming location fool you — the food is excellent. This is a true omakase experience, so keep in mind that you can’t order extras if you're still hungry, what’s served is what you get.

This Omakase was amazing! Very small and intimate space. The chef was super friendly and nice to chat with during the dinner. Doesn’t feel too fancy, so it’s approachable if you’ve never been to one. This is a very good price for what you get, especially compared to other Omakase dinners that I’ve been to which are much more expensive. Food was delicious and I even got to try several things that I’ve never had before. Highly recommend this place! Also not very hard to get a reservation like other places.

Definitely one of the best sushi omakase experiences in Hawaii, if not the entire state. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. The chef's expertise shines through in every dish, with each piece of sushi expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients is unmatched, and the presentation is impeccable. A truly exceptional dining experience – highly recommend!

There are only a handful of seats in this restaurant, and I'm pretty sure only 1 seating per shift. I highly suggest reservations. The whole dinner is omakase, so bring an open mind. The chef is kind and won't MAKE you eat everything, but you would be missing out if you didn't try everything. I've been dining with atsushi for a while now, since he was located at ohana hale market place, and this location is more his style. Just him and one other person, usually his wife, serving the whole counter. For a great night of sushi and sake, go here! It's BYOB, so bring some extra sips for atsushi to...
