KAINALU POKE — Restaurant in Honolulu

I work in the building and frequent this poke shop, not only because it's super convenient but because the owners and workers really treat their customers with "aloha" and have the best fresh fish in town! My favorite is their sashimi trio (the hamachi sash is soooo good, I promise!!), the pulehu ribs or the French dip. Not only do they serve poke and fish, but their daily specials always change and range from grilled cheese and tomato bisque to lobster bahn mi. BEST spicy ahi poke and BEST tofu poke we’ve ever had! My husband had the spicy ahi and said it’s way better than his usual at Foodland. As a vegetarian, I normally get my tofu poke at Island Vintage or Leahi Health, and KAINALU’S WAS SO MUCH BETTER! It had peppers, at least three different types of onions, avocado, mashed purple sweet potato, brown rice, and more. The flavor, ratios, and presentation were all perfect.

we got the Kainul Poke Bowl Ahi + Kalua Pig and signature Kalbi , The ingredients are so fresh. I was so impressed with Kalbi! I had so much Kalbi before but this Kalbi It was very smokey and thick. It’s definitely high quality Poke Bowl I ever had. everything was Amazing !
