I've been a frequent customer for many years for their variety and prices. On my last visit on Tuesday 8/26 I purchased a crack seed bag that I didn't realize had a hole in it. It leaked into the bag on my way home. I came back today and asked for an exchange. The sales person asked for the reciept, but I unfortunately didn't have it anymore. I gave him my name, confirmed the date of purchase, and gave my credit card number so he could check. He couldn't find my purchase. The original crack seed bag was clearly unopened and unused with sticky liquid seeping out of it. I brought it to them in a clear ziploc bag. The male associate in a pink shirt and long hair told me he couldn't do an exchange without proof of purchase. Who else (meaning which other store) would I have purchased this from?! I ended up buying more snacks as I was on a deadline, but never again. Horrible customer service for a defective product and horrible business model. If there's a hole at the bottom, it meant bacteria or something could've seeped in. I own a business, always go above and beyond for my customers and found that to not only be severely lacking here but...

It’s my first time to Oahu and Aloha Stadium Swap meet. Lin’s market seemed to be reliable as the booth was clean and there were many products to choose from. The cashier who explained what is Li Hing powder was nice. I picked a dried Li Hing mango slice and a bag of fresh pineapple with Li Hing. I asked her to pick a good bag for me as there were several bags in front of her. She checked and pick one from the bottom and told me that’s nice and cold. When we opened the bag, 2/3 of it were pineapple core which were so hard that we could not even eat it. I felt so disappointed at this experience. Just want to share to help others who are new to the island. The mango slice is good! I wish I bought...

Stopped by today for a last minute funeral gift for a family member. Hoping to find pre made gifts baskets to grab and go. Unfortunately there were none, ask if I could just grab snacks myself/ basket and have them just wrap in quick cellophane. Told I needed to call in advance, at least 2 days. Which if I pick everything out, how long does cellophane take? Two workers on, the one I spoke to said...they are busy putting away inventory today and had one basket to complete already. I just stood there in awkward silent for a few minutes.... They were too consumed with inventory to even care that a sale for something important walk out. Way better help from tx max & whole foods putting a...

my favorite spot for the best treats — they really have something for everyone. their honey sesame sticks are addictive, and their speciality shave ice (azuki or mango) are so reasonably priced for their quality. easily some of the best coffee in the kaka'ako area too! you may even see a few of their furry friends if you're lucky 👀

A store featuring a wide variety of local treats and crack seed near Ward Village. You can bet you’ll always find something to satisfy that snack craving and likely walkout after buying 2-3 (or more) snack varieties. Not too many of these types of stores left on the island, but so very missed.
