Just moved into this area and now doing my neighborhood walk about. It’s a weeknight after 10pm, which is one of my favorite times to find new places. The last time I was sitting in this spot, this was a Chuck-E-Cheese. I’m glad there’s no more costumed characters but this place has their own set of characters that give it a great personality. I got drawn in with their promo boards at the front door. Their regular menu items are priced at par to other places with the same draw and their Happy Hour Menu has a late night availability with great options. Food arrived quickly but as tasty as the meal was, I wouldn’t give it the full thumbs up. This is mostly based on my prediction that no matter how I order my steak, they never get it correct, especially if it’s a sizzling platter. So, Odori-Ko has earned a “second try” from me based on the quality and value. On a late night weeknight, the service was not the best but they did take care of all my basic needs. The layout shows me that this place must Rock some busy nights but I’m happy to be here with the...

It's hard to go wrong with sushi when you're in Hawaii, but if you're looking for an exceptional experience head to Odoriko.

Odoriko was recommended to us by a local. He listed a few sushi places, and then we asked him where HE would go. He immediately replied with "Odoriko" and I'm glad we listened.

The atmosphere is cozy but not cramped. We went without reservations on a Thursday night and it was busy but we were seated quickly. I can imagine on a Friday or Saturday you NEED a reservation though.

Our waiter was awesome. Funny, nice, helpful, all around great guy. We ended up getting 8 or 9 rolls, but hands down the Rainbow Roll was the best. Yes it was a little pricey, but worth every penny. Our waiter recommended eating the piece with the sweet shrimp on it last and I'm glad we listened to him. If I could have gotten a whole roll with the sweet shrimp on it I would have.

If I go back to Honolulu I will definitely visit Odoriko again. Worth...

I went here with my family for a night out and the food and beverages were all wonderful. We had a wide assortment of dishes and all of them were delightful. My family had insisted I try the oyster shooters and I was skeptical at first but they had great flavor and a nice variety of texture, and weren't slimy like I'd expected with raw oysters. The wait staff were attentive and always seemed to check up on us right as we needed them. Later in the night we ordered more drinks and I wanted a mojito which was not something on their menu, but they do have a fully stocked bar. The drink they came back with wasn't quite a mojito. They didn't have fresh mint so they used ginger instead, but it was absolutely delicious and I was very pleased with it! I asked for another a while later and the second time they added fresh cucumber to it, which made it even better!! Very refreshing and delicious. Definitely a top notch place to go to, highly...

We visited Odori-ko in 2013 while they were still at the Waikiki location. That time they were GREAT. We just found out today that they moved to this new location about 4 years ago with a newer menu. This menu doesn't clearly distinguish which food items contain beef in the sauce vs not. Ex: chicken katsu curry has beef in the curry or yakiudon still has fish sauce and fish flakes even though it was requested to be made vegetarian without any meat. Staff is nice to talk to and they remade the food. It would be easier for folks who don't eat all various types of meats to have clarification on the menu. Not only would it improve the customer experience, but also reduce food wastage. Really sad, but this place did not live up to it's expectations for us anymore :(
