We were kind of worried when we went on Monday night because the place was empty. ( more people arrived when we were there though) We tried all Thai dishes and I can't believe this place was empty, well I can because people nowadays like to eat garbage food, anyways, the flavors were nice unique, you can actually taste the spices, fish sauce and chiles unlike other Thais places where all you taste is salt and sugar. The Crab Fried Rice was delicious, prepared with shreds of real crab very fragrant and not overly fishy. Green curry was also tasty but a little salty, had to eat with plenty of rice to bring saltiness down. Pad Thai was good not too sweet like other restaurants and noodles were al dente, not caked. We also had the Ong Choy stir Fry and Basil Stir fry and the vegetables were cooked perfectly not soggy and limp like other restaurants. Special appetizer Kor Moo Yang was OK, my daughter ate most of it, I thought it was different, but different is good sometimes. Service was good but a little awkward waitress was explaining the dishes but would walk away mid sentence so we were like uuuuuuuuuhhhhhh.....she did it like 3 times. No alcohol and BYOB has a corking fee... prices were reasonable. It seems like they also have a patio but it wasn't open that night, I would be weary of sitting there because it's right next to a parking lot for a bar and that might attract smokers. Also they play what I think it is Thai Pop music and call me crazy but I think traditional ethnic music at any restaurant makes the food...
Read moreBeen curious about this place since I live around the area. Nice little restaurant behind Walmart. The interior is nicely decorated and intimate enough for about 50 people for the inside but there is outside sitting.
Menu is quite extensive and a little confusing but quite manageable. Ordered the spicy shrimp and herb from the chef recommendation and their special pork off the appetizer list along with a rice. The pork was cooked all the way but not dry and nicely marinated. The shrimp was delicious, great texture and well seasoned. Thought I would need rice but the food is well balanced that I didn’t need it.
Service was great! The server was very attentive and gave some good recommendations. Didn’t have to wait long for the food.
Overall I think this is a nice place to visit. Food is good and prices are comparable to other Thai...
Read moreGreeted and seated right away. Note: watch step while entering, there's a raised green area and you need to step down. The server was very kind and friendly. I liked how the restaurant had traditional decor, fish and handmade items. They have big tables and an outside seating area too. The food came out pretty quickly and was good. We ordered the chicken larb and green curry with tofu. The larb was good and was served with cabbage, cucumber and green beans but I'm used to it having more mint or basil. The green curry was spicy for me but was flavorful! I want to come back to try the pho options because for $9.99 it spins like a good deal! They have a small parking lot to the side of the restaurant. They also support other businesses inside, which I...
