First time eating at this place, I’ve eaten at a lot of Korean bbq restaurants, the big difference between the ones I’ve eaten at and here, this place is super expensive. We got the beef combo which comes with three choice meat which is already picked for you, two mushrooms, one onion, and one choice of soup: miso or Kim chee. Although it’s expensive, I will say the choices of meat are high quality because it included wagyu, which wagyu itself is not cheap.
If you aren’t willing to pay $100+ for three choices of wagyu beef then don’t bother, but keep in mind that you are paying for the quality of the meat and taste at this restaurant. Even though it’s small portions, we still got full which was a shock because we normally eat so much at other all you can eat bbq restaurants. Also had to pay extra for extra rice which we weren’t aware of but it’s okay.
Everything tasted FRESH and of high quality. Their Kim chee soup is so rich and tasteful, their meat Jun we got as well was probably the best meat Jun I’ve had on island and I’ve lived here all my life and ate at places I thought were amazing, but their food topped those. The service too was top tier, this young man served us and cooked our food on the grill which was the first time I’ve experienced that at a restaurant with a grill at your table. He was really friendly and so kind.
Was a good first experience overall at this place and would recommend.

Read moreInteresting experience. The food was good not great, and definitely not worth the price. What stood out more so was the service. First off, it’s not a “cook it yourself” type of Korean Bqq. The server cooks all your food in front of you which one, doesn’t allow you to cook things to the temperature you like, two makes things awkward if you are on a date and trying to talk to someone since you can’t see the person across from you. It’s nice to be able to pace yourself as you go instead of having someone rush you to eat everything in order to make more space on your plate while they pile more food on it. At a certain point we let her know that we were good and she could just leave the rest of it. After that her and another lady just stood there hovering over us and just watching us super closely. It was to the point where my boyfriend and I were just laughing about it because of how weird it was. Another lady (who wasn’t our server) kept coming over and judging the way we cut the beef lol. After an while of being started at and rushed to eat (mind you we got there at 8pm so it’s not like we got there right before closing) we just asked for the check and left. Definitely would not go back considering we spent $150, for way less food than a normal all you can eat Korean bbq and had...
Read moreAlways went here for big parties years back and brought my own family during graduations recently till they closed. Came back after reopening and had the WORST WAITRESS EVER!! I asked what was inside a certain soup and with a LOUD UUGGHH she said it so fast I could not understand her. As I continued to brush it off I finally gave my order and she completely ROLLED HER EYES as she wrote my order down. My husband and two sons were extremely upset and since she has NEVER came around to check on us nor refill any of our cups (which we only had refills of water twice from the host and owner and remained thirsty) her whole attitude changed as soon she came around to give us our bill saying hurry up and pay, she was saying sorry I busy as she smirked. But to another table that looked her nationality she was ALWAYS on it.. None of us wanted to give tip or acknowledge her presence but I did tip a 18% which I gave on behalf of the owner that checked on us and host. I don't know if you need to be completely Oriental to get good or great service here coz we definitely didn't have it since I guess we're mixed local. It seemed as if everyone else in there that looked like them got it...
