WHERE'S THE BEEF?? So I bought this 3-choice combo. And for the beef broccoli, I had to pay 50 cents extra. That's fair, I supposed, since beef costs more than chicken and pork. But then when I returned home and looked over the portions, I pretty much paid extra for a bunch of broccoli. I mean look at my photo, I had to literally go searching for the beef, which ended up being three tiny slices. The chicken portions were fine, so I don't understand this lowballing tactic, especially since you already charged me extra. If you're going to be on the good graces of your customers, at least be fair. Why did you charge me extra, for less? STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.

Steamed and baked char siu manapua was good. Char siu filling was close to what Libby’s used to be. White rice cake was good, pork hash was good - this was close to what Libby’s used to be too. Roast pork was tender on the inside and had a nice crunchy outside. Gin dui (sesame coated chewy dessert) was also good. Only went 4/5 because the U Choice staff at the counter forgot to include my char siu sou (Chinese roast pork pastry puff). Overall good dim sum. I recommend you try it!

This is a take out only Cantonese eatery located next to Don Quijote market, but there are tables outside in the common area where you can enjoy your meal. The food is not great, but not bad either. I tried the chicken and duck combo. It was fine for a quick lunch. Maybe on my next trip to the area I will try the combo plate where you can choose 1, 2 or 3 items with a choice of white rice, fried rice or noodle.

First time at this place. Was looking for a little dim sum for a late breakfast. They were miss represented by Google maps as a dim sum place. But this is common, as a lot of Chinese restaurants that specialize in stirfry and the like will have a little bit of dim sum and bao. But, no complaints.

I’m a big believer in going with what it looks like the specialty the house is. And I saw a lot of signs and pictures and other signs pointing me towards won ton min and beef stew soup noodle.

So I got the combo. Combination wonton beef stew min. Not a dish I’ve ever seen or had. I was very pleasantly surprised.

They gave me the noodles with the braised beef plus gravy and some blanched broccoli in one container. Wontons were there as well. Broth in a separate container. The wontons weren’t piping hot. But the broth was so I put the wontons in the broth and ate the beef gravy broccoli noodle bit by itself.

A very enjoyable dish I almost felt like I had three dishes. Wontons broth and a gravy noodle. The broth was a little under salted. But as it was intended to be added to the gravy, I see where they were going. Overall...

So I have been going here for years because I love Don Quijote nut this is the first time I have written a review. So I have lived in San Francisco and these guys are definetly the real thing. They have great duck and Char Siu as well as roast pork. I usually get the baked manapua and the pork hash. The baked manapua has a nice soft bun and the filling is great fresh with lots of meat. And the pork hash is great because it has chunks of water chestnut and other delicious veggies mixed in with the pork hash. The service has always been fast and friendly and the decor is well traditional Chinese...
