As a local, if I could give this Zippy’s 0 stars I would. Every local family here knows Zippy’s is the place to go after an event and you need some late night food. We got to zippy’s and the hostess wouldn’t come up to the stand for us to put our names down. Online we couldn’t put our party because it was too large. My household in total is 9 people plus we had a few family. We added our name to the list twice and decided to wait to ask the hostess if possible to seat us together and if we couldn’t that would be okay too. My mother in law told the hostess once she eventually came back to call up other party’s. The hostess said okay and nothing else. 20 something minutes later the hostess comes back with the worst attitude saying they don’t have any seating for us, our party’s to big, and we need to eat on the other side because they’re closing in an hour. Eating on the takeout side for me was not the issue, it was the fact of the matter that the hostess knew we were a large party, was verbally communicated that, every time I tried to speak to her to ask her for a wait time she’d ignore me and walked away, and then instead of apologizing for wasting our time giving us attitude. Why waste 30 minutes of a families time if you know you can’t seat them then get mad at them when they did nothing wrong? There should be no reason a big family shouldn’t be allowed to eat dinner together in a restaurant. THEN we ordered our food and I asked to speak to a manager. The manager didn’t come because it was too busy which is understandable, however before we even got our food the restaurant side was practically cleared out. He definitely had the time to come speak with me about this issue. Then to finish it all off, my other half ordered ox tail soup and got food poisoning from this location. I’ve never been so disappointed in a zippy’s before in my life. My piece of advice, avoid this Zippy’s and take the extra drive to a further one. It’s not worth the attitude or risk of...

Read moreWe just ate here tonight. I would describe my service in general as very poor. We waited to be seated for 10 minutes before anyone even noticed us and when someone did it, it was to say I will be right with you and we waited for another 10 minutes. The restaurant was not busy by any means. When we were finally seated we waited another 15 minutes before the waitress came to even greet us and it was a " what would like to order". The waitress was short tempered and almost rude, when I asked for chocolate milk it was met with we don't carry that. We notice that my husband's and mine sandwiches sat in the window for about 10 minutes while they brought us the chillI fries with no silverware and still no drinks either by this point. The burger was described as " a prime burger on a toasted bun", it was at best a frozen patty cooked and guess what the bun wasn't even toasted. The onion rings were soggy and greasy, and had a slightly bad taste the oil was obviously old. My son's chicken nuggets were a gross pile of sogginess, that he refused to eat. The dishes were never cleared off the table, and the check was actually never brought to the table I had to go to the counter to pay. We were going to get dessert from the bakery to take home however the lady behind that counter was unable to answer some simple question to the lady in front of us about how a brownie tasted and describe a dough a as yeast one. Over all this place gets an F -, there is absolutely nothing special about this place, horrible customer service mediocre food as best. Needless to say I'm sorry I wasted my time and my money...
