McDonald's — Restaurant in Horsham Township

This McDonald's has it together! There were a lot of cars in line to order when we were circling the building to get in line. By the time we reached the order place, we were next. Our order was placed with a most friendly person who took our special requests without missing a beat! When we continued around to pay...the cars ahead were out of sight! The cashier took my card, and wished us well as he handed it back to us. When we got to the pick-up window, my decaf coffee was ready, and we were told to wait in the drive- thru spaces for our freshly made sandwiches. We waited for only a few minutes when another guy came to the window, described the order, handed it to us, and also wished us well. We ordered 2 Quarter Pounders with cheese: one without cheese, and one without onions and pickles. We also ordered fries. The burgers were fresh and hot, and the fries were hot to the touch, too. Excellent service! Great food today. Bravo! Thank you from two frequent fliers who are used to getting "pushed around" for ordering decaf coffee, and special order burgers! Thank you! Thank you! I can’t begin to explain how uncomfortable I felt as soon as I entered this estamblishment. The employees that work there lack common courtesy and do little to nothing to tend to their customers. When I walked in I was directed by (who I assume) was the manager to order our food on a “brand new system” installed that was basically a huge tablet. I was immediately confused and the more I tried to make my order the more confused I felt. Being this flustered already; I asked the manager for direction on how this new system works and he was absolutely no help and quite frankly made it seem like he had no idea how to operate this system. When we got our food we were supposed to get iced coffee and got hot. When we said something to the manager he really had no what to do besides stand there. Which wasn’t even the problem. I ended up having a piece of hair in my sandwhich. While all this was going on the two managers were bikering very loudly. This was by far the worst experience and will never come here again. My wife and I stopped for a few snacks before dinner. It’s McDonalds and we all know how the food taste. But what set this location apart from many other fast food locations was the customer service. We used the drive thru and ordered just a few things. But each interaction we had with the staff was courteous and so friendly. We chatted with the gentleman who took my money as there was a little delay in cars ahead. When we arrived at the pick up window, my wife was focused on the most important item, the ice cream cone. We jokingly told the cashier we wanted the cone made with love and my wife also yelled, make it a big one. The cashier and the people in the store laughed , smiled and even said they were making a fresh cone just for her. When it came out the window, it was huge, I was afraid it would topple over. Now I know this is probably not the normal size, but these two employees made us laugh and made the experience very lively. You don’t always get that in fast food, Thank you for the short but...
