This was my first time visiting Freddys. A friend wanted to take me to have the "Freddy's experience". We went inside, ordered, a while later my order comes over the intercom "guest 113 your order is ready" and I go to the counter, stood there for 5 minutes and no food ever made it way to the counter. An employee asks me if I'm waiting on an order and I say "they said 113 is ready" and she says "oh, only one burger is ready, we ran out of meat, I can issue you a refund or it'll be a bit of a wait." I asked how long it will be and she said "she just went to Walmart to get more meat" I say "I'm not from here, how long would that be" and she says "oh Walmart is only like 5 minutes away". So we opted to wait, and I had to sit there awkwardly eating my burger Infront of my friend instead of dining together at the same time because no point in wasting a done and ready burger. Order was placed at 8:11 and we finally got the 2nd burger at 8:42. I ordered a dirt n' worms custard after the fact as a dessert because the imaging looked nice and when get it I guess they only have the orange and yellow gummy worms (literally everybody's least favorite flavor of the gummy worm variety...and the only one this dessert comes with I guess.) Beyond that the custard was decent at least, and the fries are pretty good, thought it was odd they only have ketchup packets though.
This isn't mentioning the fact the place did not look clean all that clean...base boards off the wall, filthy floor matt Infront of the counter, trash (receipts, straws, fries on the floor).
.....How on Gods green earth does a place known for its burgers run out of meat?
Im not planning on going to a Freddy's again. Over hyped and...
Read moreFirst time at this Freddy’s location & was super disappointed in the service. We used the drive thru and ordered 2 double cheeseburgers & 2 combos. There’s no screen to see what they are ringing up which is super inconvenient because when ordering lots of food that’s helpful to the customer and the employees. When we got to the window we quickly realized the second combo we ordered wasn’t even on the receipt. When we let the girl know who was working the drive thru window, she quickly got an attitude and started going on about needing an add on at the window. She then tried to argue that we got a combo ( which we did, we just didn’t get the second one we ordered ). We tried to let her know we had literally just ordered the second combo at the speaker along with everything else and she continued with an attitude. We tried to order the second combo twice while at the window but the girl working had too much of an attitude about us needing an “add on” to listen to anything we were saying. When she finally stopped talking we, for a third time, had to reiterate what we had ordered at the speaker that was not added to the ticket. There was never a sorry, have a good day, etc. I’m NOT a believer of “The customer is always right” because that’s just not true & mistakes are bound to happen. However. This girl was extremely rude and had no place to have an attitude with us over her own mistake when all we wanted to do was just get our second combo. Will not return to this location.
(Still Two Stars for this location because love...
Read moreMy wife and I ate here when the place first opened and I could not remember how the food was, so we tried it again yesterday. I now understand why I did not remember the food; it was the very definition of bland. The double bacon cheeseburger (for almost $7) was small and tasteless. Even the onion lacked taste. And the (small) patties were dry and without any discernible seasoning. It tasted like it had been sitting in a warming tray for several hours. Or days. The regular chili cheese fries (for $4.50) were equally bland and without any seasoning that I could taste, and it did not have the diced onions I requested. It wasn't a "special" request mind you; the order taker asked if I wanted them and I said that I did. At least they didn't charge extra for them. My wife got the patty melt combo (for about $10) and was equally unimpressed. She did say that the onion rings had an onion-like tang, though. We also ordered 3 plain hot dogs ($4 a pop) for our dogs, and they seemed to enjoy them. But they're not picky when it comes to treats. My conclusion is that this place serves overpriced dog treats so if you want a reasonably-priced, tasty meal David's Burgers and A&W are just...
