My daughter and I went for a fun day in downtown Hot Springs. This was right after the CDC lifted the mask mandate, so I was ready for some fun. I love sweets, but I do try to limit myself. I looked, as we walked, for a coffee shop. I wanted to try my sweet tooth there. But when I got nearer Chill and Go, I was almost knocked to my knees! Whoa! The wafting aroma of sweet waffle cones baking snapped my brain back to the County Fairs of my childhood! I walked like a zombie into the cozy, smartly decorated ice cream shop. I was amazed. It wasn't a typical ice cream parlor. They go through this gloriously fascinating process of almost KNEADING the ice cream over a frozen steel plate with a metal scraper. Its like Art! Then your tortuous Sophie's Choice of cone or cup awaits. The smell, the ambiance, the visuals- ah are nothing dear friends to the creamiest of creamy ice cream tastes in ever.
