Chill and Go — Restaurant in Hot Springs

My daughter and I went for a fun day in downtown Hot Springs. This was right after the CDC lifted the mask mandate, so I was ready for some fun. I love sweets, but I do try to limit myself. I looked, as we walked, for a coffee shop. I wanted to try my sweet tooth there. But when I got nearer Chill and Go, I was almost knocked to my knees! Whoa! The wafting aroma of sweet waffle cones baking snapped my brain back to the County Fairs of my childhood! I walked like a zombie into the cozy, smartly decorated ice cream shop. I was amazed. It wasn't a typical ice cream parlor. They go through this gloriously fascinating process of almost KNEADING the ice cream over a frozen steel plate with a metal scraper. Its like Art! Then your tortuous Sophie's Choice of cone or cup awaits. The smell, the ambiance, the visuals- ah are nothing dear friends to the creamiest of creamy ice cream tastes in ever. Amazing ice cream and friendly service it maybe a small building but they definitely know how to make the space they have feel welcoming also you can watch them make it and if you are from out of town or from Hot Springs and you just wanna walk downtown this would be perfect to take with you while you stroll down the sidewalks and enjoying the awesome weather to also if you wanna eat outside there is a small bench right...

I love this place. When I walk my dog we like to stop and have some ice cream. They have ice cream made for your dog. She loves it. Only $5 and it's a good amt. Next time I will take a picture and post. A lot of people walk early or late to beat the heat. Sadly they open at 12:30. Too hot during those times for us. They have benches outside to sit on.
