Nastiest ice cream I’ve ever had unfortunately. We’ve had their cupcakes before and they were pretty good, so we thought we would try the ice cream this time. I should have looked at the reviews first. After paying $6.75 for two tiny scoops of birthday cake and honey flavored ice cream, I ended up throwing it away after two bites. The texture of the ice cream was chewy and almost stretchy, not soft or creamy at all. Like I’ve seen other reviews mention, it really did taste like frozen milk with a bit of granulated sugar added. If it weren’t for the blue dye in the birthday cake, I wouldn’t have been able to tell the two flavors apart because of how little flavor there actually was. The two bites of “ice cream” that I tried ended up leaving a nasty film and bad taste in my mouth. I asked for a sample before I made my purchase and was told they didn’t offer samples here. I can imagine why. They wouldn’t make any sales if people knew how bad their product is before handing over their money. I noticed that almost all the positive reviews for this place are from several years ago and then the reviews seem to fall off around one year ago. I don’t know what happened but I can’t imagine this place would be in business without the connecting gift shop. Would...
Read moreWent today and the service was well below average. The girls at the counter were rude and dismissive and not very helpful when we had questions. They spent more time talking to each other than they did with helping us. Might want to work on training better employees so customers do not feel so uncomfortable. We definitely did not feel welcomed there. We went to order the ice cream burrito as it was recommended to us by a local employee on bathhouse row. It was below average, without a doubt one of the biggest disappointments of our entire life. The ice cream tasted grainy and they did not even have half the flavors we wanted to try even though they were listed on the menu (I mean, who doesn’t have plain vanilla?). It was also not put together well, the counter person didn’t even try to make it look presentable. The burrito looked like a half-effort attempt to get us out of the store as soon as possible. Definitely not worth the...

Every single candy we tried as well as the macarons were HARD. Who the heck likes hard macarons?! But I’m used to paying $3.50/each for a macaron back home, so the “buy 5, get 1 free for $8.95” deal should have made me suspicious.
My friend and I bought four of the jars of the candy (buy 3 for $6 each, get 1 free), and all of them were bad. Chocolate-covered mandarins, cocoa-dusted marshmallows, some sour gummy rings, and chocolate-covered sea salt caramels—all bad. The chocolates just didn’t have a great flavor period (I spit out the first mandarin chocolate and threw the whole thing away). Also, the outer shell of the chocolates had that cracked-looking texture rather than a smooth appearance.
Please. Seriously. Heed this review. This shop is just NOT good. It’s like everything there is old, old, old. Waste of the cumulative $30 we...
