The store itself is nice, though perhaps there was a little less inventory than I expected. However, one of the ladies that was working here in July 2022 was off-putting and downright rude. A mask mandate was implemented today for all NPS buildings. There were no signs communicating this, the only way to know was by looking at the website. I didnât do that and just assumed that since no mask was required yesterday, it wouldnât be required today. We arrived just as the store opened. She opened the door and then stood well away from us with her mask covering her face. There was also a lot of road noise. Not only was I a little shocked that masks were suddenly required, I also was having a hard time hearing her. She became unreasonably frustrated with me when I expressed my surprise and confusion. We took the tour and it was very interesting, however it was family trip for a day so we did not have enough time to enjoy or experience such lovely architecture and beautiful piece of History in details. But it was great to came-across small piece of American History in this region. Itâs great place to walk around and enjoy the real essence of the city. Very well persevered and maintained sites along with beautiful park and natural Hot-water Fountains, which you could easily pointed on the local Map or either get info from Tourist Info Center.
Donât worry about the food choices or meal, there are plenty of options.
Recommendations: near by free car parking building behind the street, so better to park and walk around. Do check weather first and wear sneakers, keep bottle of water or light...

It was the most inclusive store of social identities that I have been too, and we have visited a lot of store parks! In addition, it had a whole section dedicated to local products (which is important to me too). I felt seen and welcomed in this space. It's been several weeks since our visit yet this impression still lingers. I made sure to share my impression with the store clerks too.
Our beautiful, diverse country is composed of many stories and peoples AND I appreciate the opportunity to learn these threads (even when unpleasant) that make our national tapestry. Thank you to the folks creating a welcoming space to engage folks in nature...
