I work at a local retail establishment and order from this place religiously once a week. I have never had an issue with this place and recommend it to my coworkers. We really enjoy the food. So yesterday we ordered food and had it delivered. We have it delivered because it is very convenient when you are working for the food to be dropped off, and who has time to pick up food on a 30 minute lunch break? We placed an order for food, which included 2 soups, 1 egg roll, 1 crab puff, 2 entrees, and 2 orders of rice. When the food came, my coworker and I, were starving and excited that the food was here. When we began to remove food from the bag we had 1 soup, 2 egg rolls, 1 crab puff, 2 entrees, and 2 orders of rice. So my coworker called them, to notify them that they forgot a soup. The lady on the phone became very defensive and said “I know I didn’t put the other soup, I gave you and extra eggroll!” my coworker explained that we did not order that and would like our meal to be corrected. She argued that it was all good because the eggroll makes up for the missing soup. Then after a little bit more yelling, at my coworker, she said that if he wanted the soup, then he should come pick it up. He told her that the point of having food delivered, and tipping the driver, is that you don’t leave wherever you are. She then told them, if you don’t like that, the go order your food from somewhere else.
Moral of the story … don’t order from there … they will not give you what you ordered and will decide to give you whatever they feel...
Read moreIf I could give this restaurant a -0 I would when we walked in we saw people picking up as we sat down more people kept coming in to pick and while ate more came to pick up. please do NOT go here to dine in. I went this evening with my family and the lady that attended us was very rude it seemed like she was irritated, bc we wanted to dine in. We ordered the family for 3 dinner for five ppl. I know she was upset bc she kept talk in her language with the other employees and point towards us. No one else was there beside us. We order extra wonton soups for the other 2 ppl. She brought us the food and drinks had to wave her down to get refills and lemons. While we were eating another family of four came in and the husband said out loud “is it mean or is rude” they sat down to eat we were finishing up they got their receipt first then we did we were both shocked on the price tag.... our total bill was for 47..85, but she added a gratuity of 9.57 and tax was 3.95 a total of 61.37???? 20% gratuity. I asked her if it was 20% because we were a family of five she is NO in a loud voice so then I asked if the charged that for everyone again in a loud voice she said yes. She became more and more ruder. She kept picking up plates she didn’t even ask if we were done she kept pushing us to leave early. I know now why so many people pick up instead of dinning in. Well they lost this first...
Read moreFood is generally good. A few items missed on occasion however if you feel they appreciate your business then you can accept that as I'm sure they get busy. Unfortunately, the lady that answers the phone and takes the orders is very rude. She says 'you're order is small' and hangs up when you are trying to give them an order of $25 and your business. Houston has so many great restaurants and it's competitive. She will be the reason this restaurant fails. No need to spend money with someone who doesn't appreciate the business. The driver is so nice, i must say which makes this review very sad to write. I hope she is not a relative to the others. A real embarrassment to the family who work hard to make it in America. She needs to be removed from taking orders as her horrible attitude is the first experience most will have. She is the face of the company and most in the community stopped ordering here as its just not worth dealing with her. It's a shame. Just my experience...
