I am quite a frequent visitor to Chick Fil a and this location falls short on several levels - mainly from a service aspect. I moved across the street from this location about a month ago, so considering I typically get CFA 2-3 times a week, I began going here often. Any time I go inside, the staff seems disorganized and lacks any sort of enthusiasm. While that is relatively not uncommon amongst fast food, I have never ever been to a CFA that is not a well oiled machine until this one. That's all fine and good, I don't expect a foot massage every time I'm in the mood for a chicken sandwich, but a trip 2-3 times a week for the past several years to CFA and I realized last month that my order has NEVER EVER been wrong before, until my second visit to this location. I've been to lots of CFA's. I've moved every other year for the past 6 and had two jobs at which I went to different CFA's for each. I regularly at one point in time have used 7 different CFA's and none of them ever got my order wrong even in the height of lunch until this one. Okay...so order wrong. That happens. In a month something has been incorrect in my order 4 times now at this location, and even when I am one of 2 cars in the drive thru as they did tonight. The staff always seem to be talking and gossiping amongst themselves while putting my food together and not paying attention or distracted. The food seems to be not nearly as hot as I was used to be getting and the breading typically seems a bit soggy. Seems like this location just isn't up to par with the outstanding and overachieving service I am used to. Not once can I remember hearing the now famous phrase "my pleasure" as I thank them for the mediocre service. I believe I'll begin taking the longer trip to the next closest CFA from now on or picking up food before going home from work.
4 month later update
The other CFA that I now use a few miles down the road closes an hour earlier than this one. I was particularly craving a chick fil a sandwich and waffle fries with BBQ tonight so I decided I would chance it across the street at this location since it was late. I arrived 30 minutes before close (not trying to pry my way in as they locked up or anything) and ordered only to be told they were out of waffle fries and would comp a different side for me. No big deal. It's late and that happens if it was a particularly busy day. I'm really just here for the chicken anyways. #1 - no pickles- add cheese. I got a healthy side and since I make terrible decisions, I decided to do a milkshake too. The order taker specifically asked if I wanted whipped cream and cherry on top. I politely declined. I get home to find my sandwhich with three enormous pickle slices (as if an unintentional slap in the face because I think they used to only come with 2 pickles. But I digress), no cheese, and upon closer inspection of the milkshake it is topped with plenty of whipped cream and a cherry that I didn't want.
Don't get me wrong, a topped milkshake ain't gonna keep this fat kid away and I took the pickles off the sandwich and ate it, but i have had SO MANY visits to the specific location end up with missing items, messed up orders, or half assed service. One time I got a breakfast chicken biscuit with only one side of it being a biscuit and the other side that should've been another half of biscuit was another fried chicken patty!!
I swear I am also not one of those people who orders like the taker is their personal servant or anything either. I say please, thank you, and tell everyone at the counter to have a wonderful day with a big smile. Some jerks have no idea they are jerks in the drive through when ordering and then are flabbergasted at awful service. I am not one of those people.
I may send corporate a letter about this location or something. I still have yet to EVER have even ONE single problem at another CFA and almost indefinitely I will have something wrong at this location.
Hoping I never get the craving for CFA past 8:30 at night anymore, although I'm sure I will still...
Read moreI recently visited the Chick-fil-A located and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While Chick-fil-A has garnered a positive reputation, my visits have been a hit or miss, leaving me with mixed feelings.
One recurring issue I have encountered is the inconsistency with order accuracy. It has become almost routine for me to meticulously check my order because, more often than not, there is an item missing. This lack of attention to detail is frustrating, as it leads to a less than satisfactory dining experience.
Equally disheartening is the way the staff handles these situations. Whenever I bring up the missing items to the staff, it feels as if I am inconveniencing them. Their response leaves much to be desired, as I am made to feel like a burden for simply expecting my order to be complete. The lack of empathy and understanding from the staff only adds to the disappointment.
I understand that no establishment is perfect, and occasional mistakes can happen. However, consistent oversights and a dismissive attitude toward customers' concerns detract from the overall experience.
Despite these shortcomings, I must acknowledge that Chick-fil-A has built a strong reputation for their customer service and quality food. I have had positive experiences at other Chick-fil-A locations, which makes this particular situation even more disappointing.
I believe it is essential for Chick-fil-A to address these issues promptly and take necessary steps to improve their order accuracy and customer service. Attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere are crucial elements that can make or break a dining experience.
While my recent experiences have been disappointing, I hope that Chick-fil-A takes this feedback constructively and works towards ensuring consistent and excellent service for...
