We are regular customers at Teriyaki Madness and rarely order this late, since it was 15 minutes before closing, we wanted to be considerate and asked at the counter if it was too late to order. William, who was at the register, checked the time and kindly reassured us that it wasn’t a problem. He took our order without hesitation, providing great customer service.
However, as soon as our order was placed, we overheard negative remarks directed at William for taking a last-minute order. The manager, Ms. Ann, who was in the kitchen voiced out loud that they were out of chicken breast for the night (which affected two of our dishes), and instead of offering an alternative, she immediately processed a refund. Julissa also mmmmh as to back the initial dismissive remarks and also voiced about them closing soon. Rather than finding a solution or offering substitutions like another protein or the tofu dish we had ordered Ms. Ann’s response reinforced the kitchen staff’s unwelcoming attitude.
This experience was disappointing. A good team supports each other and prioritizes customer service, especially when there’s still time to serve guests. Had the situation been handled differently, it could have contributed to both a better customer experience and additional revenue for...

I go to pick up the food, they say i have not paid yet. i offer to show them the receipt, they said i show this order as not paid so maybe she put the order as pay in store? so I paid it. I went to my car to check if there was egg in it, yes there was egg in it. So i went back into the store and asked if they could remake it. Then they came back with two orders, and asked if she ordered two of the same thing. No, i told them i had tried to tell them my wife told me she already placed the order. they told me both were the same thing, but my wife paid 20 dollars and i paid 12 in store. So i asked for a refund off the 20 dollar order. then i found out they were different sizes the whole time, so not the same thing. The manager came out and said "If i give you the bigger one does it solve the problem?". They wasted like 30 minutes of my time when i should have been able to just grab the order and go. I was told there would be broccoli, zucchini, carrots,and cabbage. It took 23 minutes to receive my order after I paid. A cook came from the back around 10 minutes after placing my order to tell me it would be an additional 4 minutes. That 4 minutes came & went. Once the cashier gave me my order, he apologized for the long wait & handed me a small clear cup for water & an extra teriyaki sauce.
