Large portions with a variety of choices. I went here at the recommendation of a friend. Tried to find something to eat without cheese in it. No descriptions in their menu so you rely on the knowledge of the waiter. Asked about three different options and picked the most appetizing choice. Waiter gave me false info on the chicken burrito. I know most burritos have cheese but have had chicken and rice burritos where it doesn't call for it. Without telling waiter I didn't want cheese, he described the burrito without it. I then mentioned I wanted to make sure it didn't have cheese and he confirmed that was true. Came back with cheese all melted in it. Maybe I should have just had him write down no cheese. A good place for a tasty lunch downtown. Nice portions and quality of foods used. Gets very busy at the noon lunch hour. When busy the place gets very loud making casual conversation with table mates difficult. Service is hit or miss ranging from good to just OK. The busier they are the longer service takes. Be prepared to wait some for service if you go at a busy time. Best bet is to order through Uber Eats and have it delivered to your office for a quiet relaxing lunch of tasty food. BBQ grilled chicken breast and black bean burger are my go-tos. They recently raised prices which is a drag moving them out of what I consider the budget friendly category. In this extension of Barnaby's restaurant opened up a years ago I was a little bit worried. Seemed to be a large lunchtime crowd as always, but the service was lacking and the food was just okay. I've got to say they cleaned up their act completely. My favorite, the chicken Mediterranean salad, is equal to any of the other Barnaby's now. if you've never had this dish before, it's simple, complex, and something you'll be craving another day after you've eaten it. The staff that they have there now is really fantastic, and seating does not seem to be the problem at once was. the iced tea refills were fast, plentiful, the iced tea was good, and they even offer it to go!
