🍔 Blown Away by Beck’s Prime – and Shoutout to Oscar!
Let me just start by saying… I’m officially obsessed with Beck’s Prime. I had never been here before and didn’t know what to expect, but I was absolutely blown away — from the food to the service, everything was top-tier. And I have to give a special shoutout to Oscar, who made my first visit unforgettable.
I tend to get a little overwhelmed by long menus at drive-throughs. I usually assume the food won’t live up to the hype when there are that many options, especially if it’s not a full dine-in experience. But let me tell you: this place changed the game.
Oscar went above and beyond — he helped walk me through the menu and recommended some substitutions that ended up being absolutely perfect for me. I went with the chicken sandwich, and it seriously tasted like it came fresh off the backyard grill. So juicy, smoky, and flavorful — honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. And even though I’m not a burger girl, the food was so good that now I’m actually excited to go back and give the burger a try too.
The truffle fries? Next level. Crispy, rich, and so satisfying — definitely don’t skip them.
The whole restaurant was super clean and well-kept, and the outdoor seating area is actually beautiful — way more inviting than you’d expect from a place with a drive-through. The atmosphere felt fresh, casual, and honestly just easy to enjoy. Great location too, super convenient and well-maintained.
But the part that really stuck with me? As I was walking out, Oscar remembered my name and called out to thank me again. That kind of attention to detail and genuine hospitality is so rare these days. It truly made my day and sealed the deal — this place has a loyal customer now.

Read moreOver the past year I went from this particular Becks on Augusta being my got to spot for truffle parm fries, to barely going because I don't need the stress of them getting such a basic order wrong. They hired a new young guy that works the drive thru and even when I speak slowly or if I am in person to order he ALWAYS mess up my order( he has been there almost a year, so get it together). What is so hard about an order of truffle fries or and order of regular fries with parm on top. The AA lady and AA guy that works the drive thru get it right every single time.
Today I placed an order through the app in an effort to minimize my contact with people and on the app the order is even simpler. I should have been able to go in pick up the order and leave. When I get there the staff that worked during the 11am- noon hour got it wrong again. The lady (Hispanic lady) told me my order was not ready. I was picking up two orders. When in fact one of the orders was ready and was sitting there getting cold. My order was not even made despite it being placed 15 min ahead of time on the app. The cook ERIC was so mean and nasty he barely wanted to start my order and recook the cold fries that was sitting. Mind you I wasn't even saying much I was calm, but I guess my face told the story plus ERIC seems like he is living hell on Earth. The Hispanic lady said, "ERIC you are stubborn, just fix the order." When I got my order my ranch cups were smashed. Eric it must be miserable for you to be hateful and to hate your job. I talked with my bank to get my refund because I refuse to eat food someone with so much hate fix me. I guess if you look like me you may not get the best service because all the other customers that came in received good service. Read moreAnyone who knows me knows I don't play about my cheeseburgers. I have frequented Beck's Prime since the 1990s when I worked downtown. The tunnel location knew what I wanted as soon as I said "I'd like to place an order". That's how well they knew me and that's how often I called them. (John was the manager and he was awesome).
Anyway, today for lunch I went ahead and ordered my (somewhat boring) well done cheeseburger with mustard only. I went through DoorDash and waited with great anticipation.
Imagine my shock when I opened the box and the burger had no top bun. I was immediately annoyed because I've never ever had a problem with Beck's Prime ever. So I let DoorDash know what happened and they refunded me but then I decided to call Beck's myself to see what could be done.
Lo and behold, the manager actually apologized (he sounded sincere, too) had them make me another burger and deliver it to me (I don't work far from the location).
I am so grateful they were kind enough to do this for me, I didn't expect them to, but my mom always said you never know unless you ask.
