Club Rumba — Restaurant in Houston

I've been here twice. This is a great club with a good sized floor and lots of room to mingle. I try to grab a decent group and head early (9:30ish) since most of us are professionals and staying up till 3am isn't our particular forte anymore. I was paying $5 bucks per drink. The house mixed drinks are pretty decent, no fancy beers to be found but that's fairly typical for night clubs (damn my beer snobbishness). My only real complaint is that the bar isn't ready when they open so if you want to grab a drink upon entering early you'll probably have to wait.

The guy that teaches the Friday classes is pretty good too.

If you're looking for a place that has a nice laid back atmosphere, room to dance, and reasonably priced drinks this is a pretty good place to go. There's lots of parking and there's two cops...

First time here, nice spot, mixed drinks were $11, parking was $10, I think entry was $10 also, bigger than what it looks like on the outside. I noticed the other review said if you don't buy a bottle you just stand? That's not true, we had a table and we never bought a bottle. The other review is saying drinks are ok? Well learn how to ask for your drink, I've never had a problem telling a bartender how I want my drinks mixed. The other review complaining about pat downs, seriously? We're in Texas, everyone carries, pat down...

My 17 yr old niece comes here all the time so i figured ill check it out but they were trying to charge me 10 dollars for parking so i didn't bother to park, kept going to another club where there's no cover our parking! Called them up right after that to ask what the heck is up with that but when the guy answering the phone wasn't professional enough to give me his name, i knew this kind of place in this kind of neighborhood was not the kind of place to ever...
