I wish I could give this place 0 stars. My husband and I ordered take out with high hopes due to the great reviews. I got the avocado toast and he got the open face tenderloins. Both dishes were tasteless and cold (even though we had ordered at the restaurants and waited for the food to be prepared there). Also, the meals were not visually appealing. I had ordered extra avacados for my meal. The picture attached shows how much avocado they put on the toast (didn't seem like extra avocados). The bread itself was super dry so I ended up having to throw it away and just ended up eating the egg and the avocado. My husband said his meal tasted super bland and dry as well. Our check came out to almost $30 with tip. We tried to tip well to help out as much as we could during these uncertain times. With that being said, the meal was not worth that amount we spent on it. I can make a better avocado toast at home for a fifth of that price. I don't recommend this place at all.

Although District 7 Grill Eado is not primarily focused on pizzas like their location down the road, I still decided to try their flatbread crust pizza. The ordering experience was excellent, and the place has a great vibe. First Impressions: The pizza is small, and can easily satisfy one person. I would not recommend attempts to share this small 'Za. The crust immediately presents itself as the signature craft element of this pizza. It's soft, but not in a chewy sense. Ingredients seemed fresh and well distributed. The pesto sauce complimented all the ingredients. Overall, the pizza is great. My only issue is the price point is a bit too steep for what I'm getting. It would be reasonable if the size of the 'Za was 1 inch larger. I do recommend for the unique and pleasantly light crust. Oh, and there's free ice cream.

Gem in EaDo!!!!! This was our first time eating here but will definitely not be the last! The food was wonderful! Excellent mix of flavors and textures. I had the blackened reddish with crispy brussels sprouts. The balsamic glaze and slivered almonds really elevated the brussels for me. Ive never had them this way before and it was a true delight! My partner had the birria tacos and they were phenomenal!!!! I appreciate the depth of flavor and the thicker consistency of the consommè. We ate quite a bit of our meals before thinking to share a picture, but I got one of the amazing brussels sprouts. I hope you enjoy District 7 as much as we did!

I've been fairly periodic customer since one of my UH colleagues introduced me to District 7 Grill Eado. However, tonight I was deeply disappointed that that the service was so poor. I called in an order for pick up, and was clear about what I wanted including asking details about the preparation of 2 of the side items. I picked up my order, which was tied up in a bag, and as always, even though I picked the order up, I left nearly a 20% tip. Sadly, when I got home, I found that one of the side items was missing. I called to report the problem. The staff checked and said I wasn't charged for it so the person taking my order must not have heard me when I requested it. While I indicated that understand people make mistakes, the problem was, now I'm home with an incomplete order...and I tipped them like they got it right. The next thing I know, Susan, the manager came onto the phone--and acted SO WHOLLY AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL SHE SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND THE OWNER OF DISTRICT 7 GRILL SHOULD BE TOO! (1) She actually argued with me about the order I placed; (2) She insisted we never discussed one of the side items at all, that it was never mentioned--and when I told her that we discussed the item b/c I could describe what she said about it but I've never had it, she still tried to insist I didn't order it. (4) She never apologized--and I had to tell her that someone owed me an apology for getting the order wrong and the inconvenience because she was still trying to be defensive. (4) When I mentioned that if it was better for me to talk with a manager, I'd be happy to call the next day--that's when she told me she was actually the manager. WHAT KIND OF EXAMPLE IS THAT?! Who in a "leadership" position argues with a customer, and continues to try to argue with a customer INSTEAD OF TRYING SOLVE THE PROBLEM? INSTEAD OF TRYING TO SATISTFY THE PAYING CUSTOMER? MAYBE TRYING KEEP THE CUSTOMER COMING BACK? (6) I actually had to tell Susan that she her demeanor was inappropriate, and that she needed to stop trying to argue and apologize. (7) So, in the same tone she was using when she was arguing with me, she apologized. I gave thanks and hung up. Sure everyone has bad days, but Susan's behavior was so deeply disappointing, and demonstrated no regard for me or her role as an example for the staff. Not sure what was going on with her such that she couldn't own up to a simple mistake, and that she came to work to argue with a paying customer...But because of her inability to try to actually manage/resolve a problem and her argumentative attitude, I'll have to give another restaurant the money I was willing to pay District 7 Grill. I guess it’s no matter to Susan, I’m just one customer. I'll also have to advise my UH colleagues (including ones that recommended D7G to) that I had a problem there with my order, and the management was not the least bit interested in addressing it—not even with a free...

I have come here Almost on a weekly basis for over two months and I order the same thing; two orders of Mac and cheese. Today after work at 7:08 I called in the same order as normal and got here and realized I left my wallet at home so I thought. So I went home searching and realized it was a work and called back to apologize and ask if I could put in another order of the same thing Mac and cheese but at sausage. I get here at 9:10 pm and the young lady who is usually very pleasant and nice tells one of the people who I'm assuming is a cook in Spanish to take the bagged Mac and cheese on the counter to warm it up and add the sausage. I proceed to ask wait this has been sitting on the counter in the front since my first order and your going to serve that to me? She said we are very busy and it's not our fault you messes up ; now I wouldn't have minded if my food was in a warmer but to me I would think you would want to serve your guest fresh food. So I proceed to say you know I come in here quite often and order ; she responded yes I know. I'm looking puzzled now. I ask is this the policy of this restaurant to serve cold food to guest and instead of accommodating the guest with something fresh you prefer to give me some food that's been sitting out for two hours. Do you mind if I speak to a manager about this ; she just ignored me and finally said no manger and pressed and she said talked to Nora. I'm sadden and kind disgusted about this and food I've ordered now. To me it seems wrong and she was like we are very busy and we can make a fresh Mac and cheese but you'll have to wait 15 more mins which isn't a problem but why wasn't this the first option and why would a restaurant want to serve food that's been sitting and not in a warmer or fresh. Just very disappointing because I refer people here and I always chose this place as a food option when cheating on my...

Parked my car to take photos at the near by graffiti wall, explored the area and other cute restaurants while hanging with friends, and then finished the afternoon with a cup of district 7 grill coffee and a cookie only to come out to find that my car had been towed. They didn’t care that I was a customer of theirs and because they don't have a large customer base, they have created a scamming scheme in partnership with a local towing company to make money. It’s sad. The cookie also sucked - it was hard. And the coffee tasted burnt. I should also add they confirmed that they photographed and follow me, without my permission. When customer service is this terrible you have to resort to other alternatives, unfortunately theirs is still making money. This experience showed me what this company values…profit over their customers. I hope this obsession with asphalt runs them into to the ground and karma continues to do its part in the lack of success of their business. p.s. since when can’t you enjoy the area AND be a paying customer? You’d think my receipt would hold some weight, but nope.

Editing this to add that this company claims they don’t tow, as you can see in their reply, yet upon calling to speak to the restaurant they stated “we’ve been doing this for 4 years” and they have windows… they can see the tow truck taking car after car clear as day…they even have tow signs. Make it make sense! This company took it as far as “we will go next door and review footage of you at the other restaurant” I...
