Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Houston

👍 This Einstein Bros. (EB) is a nice spot tucked away in the Texas Medical Center, specifically within the Methodist Complex. 🤜 While not the restaurant's fault, the nearest entrance is currently being remodeled, which might cause complications for some customers trying to order here. 👍 The bagel tasted just as expected. 🤜 The selection of bagels seemed limited compared to other EBs or specialty bagel shops. When I arrived, there were only about four standard bagel options and a few bagel-variant choices available. 👍 Service was fast, though I imagine it could get very busy during peak hours. ⚠️ A general public safety note: This is an open hospital complex, so diners might encounter panhandlers, homeless individuals, or those experiencing mental health issues. This is not the restaurant's fault, but something to be aware of. 👍 The staff was polite and appeared to handle any undesired guests quickly and professionally. 🤜 Some tables were a bit dirty, but it seemed like the staff was busy as the restaurant...

Other reviews mention that Google Maps is misleading regarding the location as the pin is around the main lobby in the Dunn Tower but is actually located in an entirely different tower far away.

Specifically, it is located right next to registration in the Walter Tower. The closest entrance from outside is on Bertner Ave. If you're in one of the other buildings along Fannin, that's behind the other buildings. You'll need to proceed to the Walter Tower and even when you get there signs are not readily apparent at the intersection. Turn at the hallway for the Walter Tower and follow it all the way past...

Good food and service but difficult to find. The pin on Google Maps takes you to the main lobby but the Einstein’s is actually located in a different building of the hospital that is a bit of a walk. There are also not signs for it until you get into that building so we had to ask a couple employees...
