They were really nice and they took their time telling me what to expect and what they could and would do for me. They're even going to call my insurance company.

I give this place 5 stars In 2008 at age 13 this small growth grew on my jaw and I didn’t think much of it because at the time my dad was fighting cancer, so I just shrugged it off. As the years went by the growth got bigger and I realized something wasn’t right. I didn’t tell my mom because I didn’t think she would understand. When my mom begin to notice it, she helped me look for a doctor that would look at it and between 2017 - 2021 we kept looking for a doctor and no body wanted to help us and to see what my growth is. I was starting to give up and just let it be there because again no body wanted to help me. Finally in June 2021 I decided to try again and I found this place and Dr Shum, the entire time I am waiting on dr Shum. I’m telling my mom that he’s not going to help me and he will send me away to another doctor that won’t help me. Every doctor I saw would instantly send me to someone else by passing the bucket on me. He had me get Ex-Rays done of my jaw and he finally came back with the results that I have been waiting for the past 13 years. It was an Osteoma a bone tumor that was growing on my jaw and how it got there is unknown. I was so excited and happy that he finally gave me what it was but at the same time I was worried about what was going to happen next. Dr Shum told me that it needs to come out and that we will need to perform a surgery to have it removed. In July 2021 dr Shum finally removed the growth from my jaw that was growing for the past 13 years, the surgery was supposed to last 2 hours but because the growth was sitting there to long, it cost some minor problems to my jaw so they kept me in there for 4 hours instead they had to repair some curves were the growth was located but I looked at the bright side of things. It was a ginormous weight off my jaw because that thing was causing a lot of discomfort and heavy weight on my jaw. Till this day I still have the surgical scare but it doesn't really matter to me because I am extremely thankful to dr Shum for helping me and finally giving me the answers that I have been desperately needing that I could never get from a doctor. Before my jaw was always hurting and I would get constant pinched nerves in my neck due to the growth. All that pain finally stopped but I do get pinched nerves once in a while but not has bad as before. Thank you so much Dr Shum I really appreciate you helping me and taking the time to help me when no other doctor wouldn’t. 5 stars for this...

They got one star because that’s the lowest I could give . After waiting several weeks My appointment for October 5 at 3 PM arrived. I was asked to do paperwork online and arrive at the office by 2:45 PM. I I completed all of the paperwork online and checked into the office at 2:30 PM. The receptionist appeared very frazzled and acted as if she did not know what she was doing. There was one person ahead of me on the sign in sheet we were both seeing Dr Shum. As I was waiting to be called the office began to fill up, I noticed that people who arrived after I did were being called. I asked the receptionist how far behind the doctor was running, she asked had I checked in I replied yes she seemed confused by this and had to check the computer. She then stated there were some papers I need to sign before being checked in by now I had been in the waiting room about 45 minutes. I asked how much longer the wait would be and was told at least an hour because I was just now being checked in. I explained this was unacceptable because I checked in at 2:30 for a 3 o’clock appointment. A few minutes later I was a escorted to the back, I waited until 430 and was told Dr. Shum was seen other patients and I had two choices I couldn’t wait or leave. I have a newly discovered tumor on my right jaw, Because of this tumor the bones around my jaw Teeth are weak causing breaks. My regular dentist will not work on my teeth and Referred me to Dr. Shum. I am in an incredible amount of pain with the broken teeth and my gums are bleeding. I am a nurse educator I had to reschedule or cancel several classes to make this appointment. I pick my 12 year old granddaughter and three year old grandson up from school at four, arrangements were made for them to stay until five. The office staff had no idea how long it would be before I would be seen I was just given the two choices wait or leave. I am A medical professional and I assure you had I treated a patient the way I was treated in that office I would have been fired. The staff was uncaring and had no compassion at all. They acted as if they hated their jobs they all seem to be angry even telling me that this was normal for the office. I asked to speak to someone Verbalize my concerns no one was interested, I was handed a card and told her I could call that person. There was no office staff or nurse available. In order to make it on time to pick up my grandchildren I had to leave by 4:45PM needless to say I have...

Dr Damien is great, the admin side not so great. I’ve been an established patient of his for about 9-10 yrs. There always seems to be some sort of scheduling issue. I’ve visit him a couple of times for 6 month/yearly follow ups and been told when I’m there that he’s unavailable. They give me the option to reschedule or see a resident. Since I only see him twice a year, it’d be nice to know about the last minute change before I showed up

My appointments usually always start 30 min or an hour after my appointment time. I had a procedure yesterday scheduled for 1:30 and it started at 2:30. He left halfway for another appointment and let his resident finish the job. Nothing against the resident or Dr Damien but I expect the doctor to perform my procedure from start to finish and due to scheduling, that didn’t happen. Having that procedure anxiety beforehand and watching this unfold was pretty...
