It was very confusing . And I was still left with a lot of unanswered questions. I’m still left in alot of pain and very unclear as to what exactly procedure was done on me . It was my first time in surgery and from the beginning it was confusing . The surgery coordinator is way beyond backed up to the point she doesn’t really know what she is suppose to be doing . You can clearly tell she is overwhelmed . And definitely did try to make it seem like I couldn’t afford anything when at the end of the day it didn’t matter because my insurance good and I don’t pay for anything so money wasn’t a thing and she try to send me to an outpatient when dr.dad made it clear I had to get my procedure done that day. Then she gave me the check out papers with no resolution and i had no medication for my pain when I was complaining about it the whole time . And no antibiotics FOR AN INFECTION.. 1/10 don’t recommend. Dr. Das is great the secretaries are great . But they just great people doing they job. But that’s it that’s all . Your needs will...

Dr. Cusick is amazing, caring, compassionate, and an expert in her field. She answered all of my questions and helped me come up with a plan to address my issues. The wait time is dreadful which translates to a patient's time is not valued. Her staff are unpleasant, uncaring, and uninformatve. They do not provide updates when the doctor is behind except an inaccurate text message I received while I was sitting in the waiting room. It said the doctor was running 5 minutes late. I waited 1 1/2 hours past my appointment time to see my doctor. I also arrived 30 mintes before my appointment as instructed to fill out 10 minutes worth of paperwork. Dr. Das saved my life. He is a fabulous surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone. My GI doctor referred me to him. About the office staff: the staff needs more training in customer service. It was very difficult getting hold of anyone or getting response to voicemail or My Chart msgs. I had trouble dealing with the surgery scheduler. She gave me wrong info. I had to search for and find out alot of info on my own. It was difficult to get her to respond to my msgs. Dr. Das is well worth all the trouble and difficulties I experienced with his office staff.
