We had a wonderful experience at First Watch! Arriving about an hour before closing on a Saturday, we avoided the usual 10 to 12 pm crowd and were seated right away. Our hostess greeted us warmly and took our drink orders promptly. While it did take a bit longer than usual to receive our hot tea and sweet tea, we didn’t let that affect our overall experience. It would be nice for guests to receive their drinks while waiting, especially considering the cost and lack of refill options. The food was outstanding. The muffins were a delightful surprise, providing a tasty alternative to toast. I had the traditional breakfast, and as usual, the potatoes were phenomenal. If you get nothing else, definitely try the potatoes and sausage links—they are thick, flavorful, and perfectly crispy. The seating was comfortable, making it a great spot for bonding time with my daughters. Despite the busy area, there is plenty of parking nearby, so don’t be discouraged if you can’t park right next to the restaurant. You can also run errands at nearby stores like Dollar Tree or UPS if you have to wait. Overall, First Watch is a great brunch spot that’s both delicious and budget-friendly.

Quality of food was definitely above average (I would recommend a different sugar for coffee as its just a staple and over-rated) however as far as taste it seemed extremely bland. The bacon appetizer was absolutely beautiful all the way around from taste and plating and the subtle hint of cayenne pepper was phenomenal with the maple syrup. Its a game changer. The main dish I ordered had a citrus (lemon) drip into it that was completely overkill. So much so I couldn't taste anything else but the citrus. Im an a extreme foodie so of course waste not what not but even my girlfriend's dish was bland or over powered by a certain ingredient depending on the bite. No blend or satisfaction like the bacon. Im willing to try something else and hope for the best as service wasn't terrible for rushing us out the door before close, never paid attention to drinks... at least he made a good ole college try. If the crew in Austin knew what was served and how it was cooked here I'm sure they would replaced the lack of passion kitchen staff that I know this place deserves and stands for. Thank you for the opportunity and service. Will try again soon for re-evaluation.

The weak spot was the biscuit and gravy. The biscuit needed the gravy because they were dry. The gravy was a little short on salt and did not seem like a béchamel gravy which is my favorite. My short rib hash poutine was a hit. Each component was properly seasoned and prepared. The rib meat was tender. The gravy was perfect consistency and was a good flavor. The onions were perfectly grilled. The hash brown potatoes were as good as it gets for me. Seasoned throughout perfectly tender and probably finished on the grill to melt the cheese curds just right. The scrambled egg at my request was real deal eggs properly scrambled and were obviously not fake eggs as you could see some egg white. The lemon pancakes were very good. Lemon curd on a pancake which had fresh strawberries which were probably steeped in a simple syrup because they were aldenté but not bitter at all. The millionaire bacon was thin bacon and good if you like thin cut candied black pepper bacon. Definitely put this place on your bucket list.

First time there, the staff would not even acknowledge that i was waiting to be seated. They were to busy talking to eachother and I would guess a regular customer. After I asked a waitress to be seated because the hostess was to busy talking with everyone else, I finally got a seat. The food was good, but extremely slow coming out of the kitchen. The server never checked if I needed a coffee refill, or anything once my order was taken. 40 minutes later the food comes out and was delivered by someone else. After I hastily ate, i had to track down the server to get my check. 1 hour from the time I walked in and walked out. The weren't even busy.. I chocked that up to reopening disorganization. The second time looked like it was going to be a way better experience. We were seated quickly and server was attentive, until she took our order. She didnt write a single thing down. We should have left then. 40 minutes later, my wife gets her breakfast and it was all wrong. 5 mintues later my breakfast comes out. After 45 minutes i was thinking the better be worth it. Nope. Ice cold. We flagged down the server to get the manager. The manager came out taking off a cook apron. He seemed like i was bothering him and said he would re cook the order. I told him absolutely not, we were never coming back. They did charge us for my wifes wrong order and coffee that they never refilled. I threw down cash and got out of there. Never again. If you want to treated poorly, get cold food and be overcharged for cold food, then go there. IHOP blows this place out of the water, and I dont...

Overhead music way too loud. Staff and kitchen overwhelmed and took a long time to order our drinks, And get our drinks. I was told my mocha mint latte was out and that the kitchen had to make more and it would be a little while so I said cancel it. I'll just drink coffee.... Our lunch order took a while and was finally served as I was eating a girl. Put my council's mocha MI. Table. And I said I canceled that you guys didn't have anything ready and she said Well, now we do there you go and she walked away.... This Flippant Disrespectful. attitude along with an overwhelmed staff. Overwhelmed kitchen and Way, too. Loud music does not make a very good experience. . . It just seemed to me.The merry go round of service does not work In rotation for Customer Care period our server was shown it.And he was great. We really liked him, but we could see that he was going from table to table. Is assisting Customers and? getting order and getting drinks circulating along with other servers in the room. Shannon was always polite and I liked his work ethic. I would tell Shannon. you are a reliable Ernest and thoughtful employee and a good restaurant would be happy to have you. You don't need to work at this unorganized circus of a business You can do so much better. And we four women that you served advise you to use this as your next work reference referral. Three of us ordered eggs benedict traditional with seasoned potatoes Which is not listed on the choices below and one of us...
